TEAM MAYAD NA MATNOG TUMULONG AGAD SA BIKTIMA NG SUNOG

Matnog, Sorsogon - Kung sino ang nangngailangan at kung kailan kailangan ang tulong, nandyan agad ang TEAM Mayad na Matnog.

Donsol, Sorsogon - Hindi pa man alkalde ay naging katuwang na ninyo.

IN SORSOGON: TODAY'S LEADERS PLANT FRUIT TREES FOR THE GENERATIONS TO COME

Sorsogon City - Sorsogon Governor Edwin "Boboy" Hamor and Vice-Governor Jun Escudero led a government that plants trees for the coming generations to get fruits.

On his own Vice-Governor Jun Escudero leads a crop of provincial legislators that writes history even outside the halls of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Sorsogon as they translated into action what Governor Hamor conceived in mind of a fruit abundant generations in the near future.

The members of the provincial board led by Escudero together with other officials and employees join the planting of fruit bearing trees according to Hamor's plan of making Sorsogon a Paradise like and fruit abundant community in the years to come.

In the past few weeks, the Provincial Government officials and employees braved the early morning cold weather as they rushed to different villages to plant fruit bearing trees.

LOCAL BUILDERS HELP IN TRANSFORMING SORSOGON WEST COAST AS BICOL'S NEWEST TOURISM HUB

Magallanes, Sorsogon - With the intensive facelifting of the first district of Sorsogon being initiated by Rep. Dette Escudero to transform its localities as new business, education and tourism hubs of the province, local builders commit full support in building new structures as needed in the proposed development.

Developments include road opening and concreting; construction of bridges, boulevards and flood controls and other structures to support the move to transform the district into a new tourism hub.

New roads and bridges; sea walls, and drainages systems in Magallanes town is now being constructed by TR Construction and Siating Construction and Development SCAD.

ALBAY'S NEWLY CLASSIFIED FIRST CLASS MUNICIPALITY OF MALILIPOT TO INVEST IN LAND BANKING

Malilipot, Albay - To spur the economy to faster growth, the municipality of Malilipot is about to venture in land banking.

The local government is about to purchase landholdings in order to anticipate future endeavors which may be needing lots for future use especially when construction of new buildings is necessary.

Mayor Cenon Biñas Volante said during the radio program "Kumusta Malilipot" in One Radio 91.3 FM Tabaco hosted by Mr.Buen Owogowog on Saturday January 25, 2025 that National Government projects require lots from the local government as counterpart and therefore there is a compelling reason to purchase landholdings for this purpose.

The mayor expounded that being now a first class municipality, Malilipot should invest to futuristic programs and projects that may help in spurring the economy of this small but fast growing town of Albay.

PARA IWAS AKSIDENTE AT IWAS HULI MAY LIBRENG THEORETICAL DRIVING COURSE SA BARANGAY OTAVI

Bulan, Sorsogon - Malayo sa aksidente at hindi kailangang umiwas sa checkpoint ng driver na may lisensya at ang sasakyan may rehistro.

Ito ang layunin ng 2 araw na Free Theoretical Driving Course na isinagawa sa pagtutulungan ng LTO Irosin at Barangay Otavi sa pangunguna ni Bgy.Capt. Brian Frivaldo.

May mahigit 150 na mga bagong nais magmaneho na legal na may lisensya na karamihan ay kabataan ang nagpalista at dumalo sa nasabing seminar.

Lamang ang may alam at may lisensya sa pagmamaneho, ayon kay Kap.Brian ay marami ang hindi makadaan kung may checkpoint dahilan sa walang lisensya kung kaya kanyang minabuti na makipagtulungan sa LTO Irosin para maisagawa ito at makatulong na rin maging sa mga taga ibang barangay.

Marami rin ang mga nasasangkot sa aksidente dagdag pa ni Kap.Brian kung kaya mas lamang ang may alam sa mga patakaran sa kalsada at mga dapat gawin para iwas aksidente.

Gubat, Sorsogon - May 2,035 na mga pamilya sa 5 barangay sa bayan ng Gubat ang nabigyan ng food packs nitong Linggo Enero 19, 2025.

Ang mga residente sa mga Barangay ng Casili; Payawin ; San Ignacio; Ogao at Paco ay hindi nabigyan ng mga naunang ayuda at pamasko galing kay 2nd District Representative Wowo Fortes kung kaya sinikap nito na mabigyan din ang mga ito ng food packs na mapagsasaluhan ng buong pamilya.

Sa harap ang kanilang mga opisyal ng barangay ay tinanggap ng mga residente ang food packs na may pang ulam na may pang snack pa.

BRINGING HEALTH SERVICES CLOSER TO THE PEOPLE: GOVERNOR HAMOR BREAKS GROUND FOR 2ND DISTRICT PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL OF SORSOGON

Irosin, Sorsogon - Governor Edwin "Boboy" Hamor led the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a brand new hospital for the Second District of Sorsogon in Barangay Buenavista in Irosin.

The 2nd District Provincial Hospital of Sorsogon is Governor Hamor's manifestation of bringing the health services closer to the people.With an initial budget of P255M the construction is about to start this month.

With the governor breaking the ground were 2nd District Representative Wowo Fortes, Vice-Governor Jun Escudero, 2nd District Board Member Roland Añonuevo, Chair SP Committee on Heath,PHO Dr.Jun Bolo, with the presence other health personnel, other board members, local officials of Irosin headed by Mayor Alfredo Cielo and Barangay Officials of Buenavista.

GOVERNOR HAMOR'S HOUSING PROJECT FOR FLOOD VICTIMS IS A WELCOMED DEVELOPMENT FOR MATNOG- BOBET LEE

Matnog, Sorsogon - The Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Sorsogon under the leadership of Vice-Governor Jun Escudero strongly endorsed Governor Edwin "Boboy" Hamor's housing projects for the victims of the recent floodings brought about by the shear line that affected the province.

On motion by First District Board Member Jun Mella seconded by other members, the SP solidly supported and endorsed the move to implement a housing project for flood victims.

The victims who were severely affected by the floodings were mostly residents of Barangay Tabunan in Matnog while others were from Sitio Isla de Higante in Bgy.Burabod, Sorsogon City.

Former Governor Bobet Lee Rodrigueza who is running for Mayor of this town says that a housing project is a part of his plan of a total facelifting for Matnog.He said that during his incumbency as governor housing project is an integral part of his governance.
