TINGNAN: Arestado ang 20 Chinese, 11 Malaysian, at isang Cambodian na sangkot sa online gaming at scamming operations, kabilang na ang love scams, sa isinagawang raid ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) at National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) sa Parañaque City nitong Biyernes, Jan. 17.

Tiniyak naman ni BI Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado na tuloy-tuloy ang kanilang pagtugis sa iba pang patagong nagpapatakbo ng ilegal na POGO sa bansa sa kabila ng umiiral na POGO ban sa ilalim ng Executive Order No. 74 ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

HELICOPTER SA LEGAZPI KAPAG GABI?

Ipinaliwanag ni Tactical Operations Group Bicol (TOG 5) Deputy Group Commander Lieutenant Colonel Joel Vergara na sila ay nagkukundukta ng proficiency training sa mga piloto para makabisa ang helicopter flight operations lalo na sa kanilang "Black Hawk" helicopter sa tuwing oras ng gabi.

Parte ito ng night flight operations training upang maging handa sa oras ng emergency.

Samantala, humihingi rin ng paumanhin si Vergara sa naging abala nito sa publiko at sila ay magkukundukta ng mga aktibidad sa mga lugar na wala masyadong mga kabahayan sa mga susunod na gabi.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the majority in Congress for graciously accepting my decision to step down as Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriations. This decision, made with a heavy heart, is driven by pressing health concerns. The highly demanding nature of my role has taken its toll, and I now need to prioritize seeking the medical attention necessary for my well-being.

I have always served at the pleasure of the majority. I am deeply honored to have been entrusted with the immense responsibility of steering the nation’s budget in service of the House of the people and the constituents we represent.

In the past three years, I take pride in our collective accomplishments, particularly the Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program, which provide critical support to those with income insufficient for their family needs. As the proud sponsor and shepherd of the budgets for 2023, 2024, and 2025, I ensured alignment with the President’s eight-point economic agenda.

Alfredo "Pido" Garbin, Jr. ang management ng Terminal sa Legazpi na nagrerenta sa lupa na pagmamay-ari ng Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Legazpi para magkaroon ng meeting of negotiation dahil sa nakitang iregularidad sa agreement ng magkabilang panig. Ito ay matapos na madiskubre ng administrasyon ni Garbin na isa ring palaisipan kung bakit ang nasabing management nangyaring pinarenta ang isang mall sa nirerentahang lupa nito bagama't dapat ito ay may pagpapahintulot ng Lungsod. Pinaglinaw ni Garbin na hindi niya aantalain ang kasalukuyang operasyon ng mga nasa lugar kundi kanyang itatama lamang ang dapat na maging revenue nito sa Pamahalaang Lungsod. Kanya rin na idinagdag na sa kasunduan bus terminal lamang ang gagawin sa lugar hindi ang pagpapalagay ng mall kung kaya dapat magkaroon muli ng pag-uusap para maitama ang kasunduan at maibigay sa Legazpi ang tamang revenue. Ayon kay Dizon, cylindrical shape submarine drone na ito ay merong steel antenna at sa mga marking nito lumalabas na ito ay isang Chinese underwater navigation and communication system. Ito ay naiturn-over na sa Philippine Navy noong Disyembre 31, 2024. Dagdag pa ni Dizon na hindi naman ito armado ngunit ito ay gagawan ng pormal na imbestigasyon.
