CABREDO, NAGPAALALA SA WASTONG JURISDICTIONAL OVERSIGHT SA PAGPAPATUPAD NG MGA PROGRAMA NG GOBYERNO

Ligao City - Magiliw na pinaalalahanan ni Congressman Fernando "Didi" Cabredo ng Ikatlong Distrito ng Albay ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), at Commission on Higher Education (CHED) hinggil sa kahalagahan ng pagsunod sa wastong mga hangganan ng hurisdiksyon sa pagpapatupad ng mga programa ng pamahalaan.

Ang paalala na ito ay dahil sa kamakailang paglahok ng Alkalde ng bayan ng Polangui na si Adrian Salceda sa mga payouts ng programa ng gobyerno na isinagawa sa labas ng kanyang munisipal na hurisdiksyon sa loob ng 3rd District.

Habang ang Polangui ay bahagi ng 3rd District, binanggit ni Congressman Cabredo na ang presensya ni Mayor Salceda sa mga pagbabayad na ito sa labas ng kanyang sariling munisipalidad ay nakakalikha ng mga katanungan tungkol sa kaangkopan ng mga naturang aksyon, partikular na sa larangan ng legal at etikal na pamantayan sa pamamahala ng mga pampublikong opisyal.

"I kindly remind all involved that the participation of any local official in government programs should respect the jurisdictional boundaries established by law," ani Cabredo.

"While I appreciate Mayor Salceda’s dedication to public service, it is essential that his involvement remains within the bounds of his official jurisdiction to avoid any potential concerns regarding the misuse of government resources, especially as he has announced his candidacy for Congress." Dagdag pa ng kongresista.

Sinabi pa ni Congressman Cabredo na ang tungkulin ni Mayor Salceda bilang Pangulo ng League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP) - Albay Chapter ay hindi nagpapalawig ng pormal na awtoridad sa pangangasiwa sa mga programa tulad ng TUPAD sa mga munisipalidad sa labas ng kanyang nasasakupang bayan.

Ang pangangasiwa sa mga programang ito ay maayos na nakasalalay sa DOLE at sa kani-kanilang local government units (LGUs).

Bilang bahagi ng kanyang pangako na tiyakin ang patas at walang kinikilingan na paghahatid ng mga serbisyo ng gobyerno, si Congressman Cabredo ay nasa proseso ng pormal na pakikipag-ugnayan sa DOLE, DSWD, at CHED upang humiling ng pagsusuri sa mga protocol hinggil sa partisipasyon ng mga lokal na opisyal sa mga programa ng pamahalaan.

Layunin naman ng kongresista na suportahan ang mga ahensya sa pagpapanatili ng transparency at legal na pagsunod sa lahat ng pagpapatupad ng programa.

"These programs are designed to serve our constituents without bias or political influence. I trust that all public officials will operate within the legal frameworks that ensure the trust and confidence of our people," dagdag ni Cabredo.

Samantala, nananatiling nakatuon ngayon ang kongresista sa pangangalaga sa integridad ng mga programa ng pamahalaan sa 3rd District ng Albay at patuloy na makikipagtulungan sa mga kaukulang ahensya upang matiyak na ang mga programang ito ay pinangangasiwaan nang patas at naaangkop.
