Reflecting on Ribbon Arc Motorsports' grueling 12-hour Makabayan Endurance Race Challenge earlier this year, alongside Pinky Parts Ph and Atom Tech, this milestone has become a stepping stone toward the 'somewhat milder' 8-hour endurance challenge coming up on November 24. It marked their first attempt at running three cars within one team. Many lessons were learned, and several achievements were earned. Although the next race demands fewer hours, their determination to become a dominant force on the grid is steadily becoming a reality.

What's back is considered as one of the most esteemed car meets, in an underground parking lot. Well it's a bit of a switch-up, but to us, this is an absolute walk down memory lane.

Seeing the red columns of Ayala's basement parking reminded the same scenario of the first Legends of the 90s meet we attended back in 2018 Circuit Makati. To indulge with the best of the best infinitely opened up a window in our minds to the possibilities of local car culture. Now looking at it is an instant shot of nostalgia mixed with this feel-good of witnessing it unfold, it is surreal for everyone involved.

To experience a generation of things where most of us don't exist yet is the most rewarding.

Unique has always been the hidden middle name of Ribbon Arc Motorsports, as bringing in Super Taikyu and Formula 4 drivers is already wild enough to compete in the Formula V1 Challenge, the only prototype racing series in the country. The presence of Shunji Okumoto and Masahiro Aoai was a mere demonstration of how to drive the race cars produced in their home country.

The West Vita 01 race car is essentially a reversed Yaris, the 1NZ engine at the back and powering the rear wheels, it is known for its twitchy rear end but well did our visitors from Japan drove them like it was an easy stroll in the park. Getting record times with just a few laps around the track is unbelievable.

Their skills sharpened by numerous races along with coach John Dizon JD Motorsports to help them catch up to speed in Clark Speedway have got them to great results. Masahiro achieved P4 in race three and P2 in race four, and Shunji on the other hand took P1 in both races. Well, what can we say at this point, ｖｅｒｙ ｈａｙａｉ!

We have entered an era where talented individuals emerge at even younger ages, often leaving us amazed. One prodigy to watch is 16-year-old Danzel_Waytan, who is freshly competing in the renovated Toyota GR Philippine Cup after being crowned the 2023 International Karter of the Year. The start of this new season with Ribbon Arc Motorsports, in collaboration with JD Motorsports, has been promising, marked by his impressive performance last weekend.

Helping Danzel gain leverage is last year's super sporting Vios Cup champion, John Dizon, who serves as his race manager and coach. Danzel has been consistently stepping onto the podium in the sporting class: 3rd in race one, 2nd in race two, and finally 1st in the rainy 1.5-hour endurance race. Gotta catch 'em all, right? It's a striking performance by the team, with family and friends rejoicing Danzel's amazing car racing debut by sealing it with a victory. We are keeping our eyes peeled for them in the next round!

If running two cars in one team is either tiring enough or beyond thrilling, well, Ribbon Arc Motorsports made it three for this year's 12-Hour Makabayan Endurance Race Challenge Series. It's a finer lineup than last year, with Pinky Parts Ph and introducing Atom Tech HG Autoworks on the team. The 1NZ-powered Yarises and Formula V1 are piloted by prominent drivers, both locally and across the world.

Bringing new challenges is their way of progressing, as nothing is the same in this yearly endurance race. The team achieved podiums from each car after all the bustling hours of preparation, to doing the show for the whole day. These sentences are not enough to describe how it is an honor to witness and document the journey of Ribbon Arc Motorsports ever since, and as usual, our storytelling does not stop here. To the next chapter, very soon.

Our first dip in the dearest Clark International Speedway this 2024 immediately faced us with two race events in one day, the new season of the 1NZ Cup and Formula V1 Cup both managed by Tuason Racing. We back up Ribbon Arc Motorsports in the battle of the hamsters and single-seaters that are all powered by the ever-reliable 1NZ engine of Toyota.

Hailing from the UK, Thomas Day took control of the Formula V1 and landed P4 in both two races. Pinky Parts Ph's Gav Quintos came blazing with his Yaris, Taffy to secure a P2 and P1 finish in class three. Our resident friends, Paulo Medina scored P3 while Jamil Lacuna held P1 in the time attack class.

Did we mention there is another event happening at the same time that is a bit, hotter?

About what signifies the name of the page, we think of what does our passion, like cars, do to our body and spirit every time we are exposed to it like a magnet, eventually getting stuck, and never letting go for some time. Passion is all about commitment to finding our happy place, that's when productivity and dedication take place to cover the rest of how this insane drug works and influences.

Create, break, contemplate, repeat. That pretty much sums up the process of how every hobby works, but no explanation is possible that can answer why does it works so well to 4-wheeled appliances that go from point A to B.

We're a band of young adults who share the love of cars through the ways of arcade/sim racing, die-cast, and actual racing. With only a tiny bit of photography or cinematography experience way before this page existed, we still wanted to do something new for ourselves and be a contributor in an awesome world we are already in for just once.

From what we only see on our screens to become a part of the scene is always a mesmerizing transition. There is a big story waiting to be told in every car, and connections to be created with other people, we won't stop doing this because of all that.
