Life is a series of challenges and opportunities, and while winning is often celebrated, it's not the sole measure of success.
Every challenge we face teaches us resilience, determination and the importance of perseverance. Kaya't patuloy na lumaban nang may tapang at paninindigan. Remember, it's not always about winning the race, but about how you run it.

LONGEST "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" GAME
When Khaleb π¦ was 3 years old, he attended a party and took part in a game called "βLONGEST HAPPY BIRTHDAY," where the goal was to sustain the longest breath while saying "Happy birthday" to be the winner. When it was Khaleb's turn, there was a moment where he had to stop βand catch his breathπ«, which caused the audience to burst into laughter.
After that experience, he felt embarrassed πand didn't want to participate in that kind of game anymore. There were times when he even considered leaving the party early if such a game was part of the birthday program. However, we always reminded him that it's okay not to win; what's important is that he enjoys π the game.
Today was different; we were well-prepared for the games.I brought the items typically asked in a "bring me" game, and Khaleb practiced with his dad to see how long he could sustain saying "Happy birthday" with the longest breath possible.
When the party began, the first game announced was the "longest happy birthday" (unfortunately, there was no "bring me" game this time). Khaleb confidently joined, and I could see both his self-assurance and a touch of nervousness in his eyes. He gave it his best shot, and while he didn't win, he didn't cry or feel scared anymore. He genuinely enjoyed the party.
Khaleb's newfound confidence and the fun he had at this party marked a turning point in his attitude towards such games, showing that sometimes, it's not about winning but about the joy of participating and celebrating with friends.
