Last night, we had the privilege of sharing some inspirational words at the Crunch Food, Inc. Year End Party. Ralph reminded everyone that a grateful heart transforms simple moments into extraordinary ones, while Rapz encouraged us to cherish the non-material blessings that make this season truly meaningful. Here’s to celebrating gratitude, love, and the spirit of Christmas together!

To everyone asking about our HK wedding, here’s everything you need to know! 💍✨

We set our appointment through this website: https://www.immd.gov.hk/eng/services/marriage.html.

On the site, click Giving Notice of Intended Marriage and follow the steps. It all depends on your location and preference—on our part, we opted to fly to Hong Kong and give the notice personally.

Our experience was smooth and straightforward! During the appointment, we only needed our passports, filled out some forms, and the groom took an oath declaring that neither of us had any legal impediment to marry. Afterward, we paid a fee of around PHP 7,000.

Once everything was completed, we were given our marriage schedule and even got to choose the date and time for our ceremony. It felt surreal knowing we were one step closer to our big day! 🥹💖

If you’re considering this option, the website also has a helpful FAQ section where you can learn more about the process. Wishing you all the best in your love journey! 💕

Thank you Archive Studios PH for making our first self-shoot studio experience so memorable! 🎄📸 The place is cozy, and the staff are so warm and friendly.

This year marks the start of our tradition to do a Christmas shoot every year as husband and wife, and we couldn’t have chosen a better spot to kick it off. Here’s to more memories captured beautifully! ❤️✨

Here’s why we got married in Hong Kong, and why it might be perfect for busy Filipino couples like us:

We wanted to get married, but with work and life piling up, we just couldn’t handle the endless paperwork and long waiting times in the Philippines. We tried to plan a traditional big wedding, but we gave up just a few weeks into the process. So, we looked for an alternative—and Hong Kong was the answer. It’s quick, simple, and stress-free! Here’s why:

1. Fast and Hassle-Free:
The whole process was incredibly simple. You just book an appointment online, prepare a few documents, and show up. No lengthy seminars, no crazy waiting times—just straightforward steps that even busy couples like us could handle.

2. No Residency Requirement:
In the Philippines, you need to apply for marriage license in the city where you’re from and wait weeks. In Hong Kong? Nope! You don’t need to be a resident or live there for a specific period.

3. Globally Recognized Marriage Certificate:
Once you’re married in Hong Kong, the marriage is valid and recognized internationally, including in the Philippines. You don’t need to worry about any legal issues—just bring the certificate to the Philippine Embassy, and you’re good to go! Trust me in this, I'm a lawyer *wink*.

4. Quick Getaway + Wedding in One:
Hong Kong is a short flight from Manila, so it’s perfect for a quick escape. We turned it into a mini-vacation: we signed the papers, celebrated with a nice dinner, and explored the city!

5. Cost-Efficient:
Honestly, it cost us less than a traditional wedding in the Philippines. No big venue, no huge guest list—just an intimate, meaningful ceremony with no stress.

We loved how it gave us a chance to focus on our love story rather than the pressure of planning a big wedding. If you’re busy, value simplicity, and want something that’s efficient but still special, I highly recommend considering Hong Kong. It was everything we needed—and more. 👰‍♀️🤵
