In view of the Declaration of a State of Public Health Emergency throughout the Philippines due to COVID-19, per Proclamation No. 922 signed on March 8, 2020 by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, and pursuant to Section 6 of the Price Act of the Philippines (RA 7581) as amended, all concerned are hereby informed that prices of basic necessities are automatically frozen at their prevailing prices.

Below is the list of prevailing prices of the basic necessities in Butuan City, under the jurisdiction of Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), that must be followed during the Price Freeze period.

All concerned are warned that violators shall suffer the penalty of imprisonment for a period of one year to ten years, or a fine ranging from P5,000.00 to P1,000,000.00 or both, at the discretion of the court aside from applicable administrative penalties.
