There is no question that fathers do play an important part in their children's lives. It’s a good thing that Father's Day becomes as well celebrated as Mother's Day. So what defines a good father? What really is the role of the father? Does he have to be the breadwinner? A dad who works 8 hours a day? How about the fathers who choose to stay at home and take care of their children while their partner works? How about the fathers who continue to support their children and have remained in their lives despite marital discord? Aren't they good fathers too? How about a father who is not always there for their children but will do anything for their family even if it means working away from home? Isn't he an ideal father too?
The role of a father has been changing since long before the modern day. Today, fathers can take on different roles depending on the needs and circumstances of their family. His importance should not only be defined on how well he provides for his family or how much time he spends with them. Today, we honor dads, husbands, sons and all the fathers in our life. Let’s recognise their tireless efforts and sacrifices. Let us praise them for striving to balance the demands of work, marriage, and children. Let us praise them for working to become a good father. And let us praise those fathers who have died, but live on in our memory and whose love continues to nurture us. Happy Father’s Day!

One of the advantages of being a full-time-mom is being able to prepare healthy meals for your family. When my husband is home, he cooks our food most of the time, it's his way of making "bawi" to the times na wala siya. We really appreciate it kasi nage-ieffort talaga siya magluto. He would always cook us our favorite foods and in fairness masarap naman talaga kaya hinahanap palagi yun ng mga anak namin kung wala siya. Nga pala "Happy Father's Day" in advance Jim Bardillon ! We love you! Anyway, when my husband is away, I do the cooking na (eh sino pa ba? 😆) and my priority talaga is to give my kids healthy and delicious meals as possible. I cook regular foods and I would always take a picture of it and send it to my husband whether he is online or offline. It became a habit nalang kasi it's also our way of communicating to each other na din (only people in LDR can relate 😉). So, kanina may hinahanap lang ako sa media files namin in messenger, napansin ko puro pagkain 😆 kaya naisipan ko gawan ng photo collage. Anyway, here's a list of the food na madalas ko lutuin which means these are the top favorites of the kids (arranged from most to least favorite).

1. Sinigang (pork or fish)
2 .Ginisang monggo
3. Pancit canton
4. Chopsuey
5. Chicken curry
6. Sarciadong isda
7. Carbonara
8. Macaroni soup
9. Chicken adobo
10. Sweet and sour fish
11. Fried chicken (bihira ko lang lutuin kasi fave nila is Chickenjoy)
12. Buttered shrimp
13. Fish with tausi
14. Ginisang togue
15. Egg omelette
16. Tinolang manok
17. Nilagang baboy
18. Stir-fried kangkong
19. Adobong atay ng manok
20. Utan Bisaya / Law-uy ( boiled veggies)

The kids would eat almost anything as long as walang kalabasa. Kaya nalulungkot ako dahil favorite ko pa naman ang Pinakbet at ginataang kalabasa, hindi nalang ako nagluluto kasi ako lang naman kakain. So, what's your favorite among these dishes?
