I enlisted my soul once again
To comfort my cold heart
Feelings of my wasted breath
As life picks me apart
Falling with the leaves now I cry
With the tree that dies again
Who am I to speak my words
To a life that isn’t my friend
The limit of my self-worth breaks
How old will I be when I die?
The puzzle is scattered into pieces
With yesterday waving goodbye
I’m tired and my sleep won’t rest
Nightmares dance in shadows of light
My soul lies down within my heart
I walk alone inside the night
The wind floats on the wings of birds
Hope lies in unmarked graves
A scattered life is mine to bury
While my vices are riding the waves

The rain falls like tears
From the sky above
The trees sway in the wind
Like dancers in love

The flowers bloom in the garden
Like smiles on a face
The birds sing in the trees
Like songs of grace

The world is full of beauty
If you just open your eyes
To see the wonders around you
And the love that's in disguise

So don't be sad or lonely
For there is always hope
In the darkest of times
And the brightest of days

Just look for the good in the world
And the beauty that surrounds you
And you will find happiness
In the most unexpected places.

I'll never get back
What you took away
A train derailed off its track
The night you had your way

You crushed my spirit
And you broke my soul
A piece now missing
I'm no longer feeling whole

Memories of you haunt me
While I try to rest
Visions of you taunt me
Causing pains in my chest

You don't even care
About what you've done
I can still see you stare
And it's blinding like the sun

But I am strong
I am not weak
My voice is my power
And with it, I'll speak

I'll speak for anyone
Who has been through the same
Stand up everyone
