Got these travel boxes from National Bookstore. These will serve as hiding nooks for the dogs at night. It gets too windy and cold at night this time of the year here at the Alqueria de Katrina.

At first glance, Papa D**g Pedroza Jr thought this cat fell in a ditch and got mud all over her body. That was Tuesday afternoon. Wednesday [Chinese New Year], was a holiday so PaD**g didn't go to the office. Thursday, the day this vid was taken, the cat still was dirty. PapaD**g decided to get her cleaned at the vet's.
It turned out, she was not just muddied, she has glue on her body [belly side] thus all sorts of dirt kind of stuck to her fur!

Poor little thing was sedated so the groomer can clean her up. She was lactating so we figured she's a mamacat. She had to be cleaned so that her young will be be able to suckle and not get glued.

We were worried sick last night when these 3 cats were not in their usual area. The barangay tanod told us the homeless were shooed away. We went around DVsoria and found the cage beside Veterans Bank. The homeless woman was not around but the cats were safe. If only the woman will give the cats to us. ● feeding

Darcie is a good mama! She allowed the "new kitty" to suckle together with her own litter. The new kitty was rejected by its mamaCat. We will assist Darcie. We will give her Enmalac, a milk enhancer. We will also bottle-feed the new kitty on the side.
