Isang makabuluhang araw ng pagkakaisa at kasiyahan para sa bawat katutubong pamilya sa Salkan Elementary School! ๐ŸŽ‰

Ang 1st IP Family Day 2024 sa Salkan ES, ay hindi lamang isang selebrasyon, kundi isang pagkakataon para mas mapatatag ang ugnayan ng bawat pamilya. Ang bawat aktibidad ay idinisenyo upang bigyang halaga ang tradisyon, kultura, at sama-samang pagkatuto ng bawat katutubong mag-aaral at kanilang pamilya.

Bilang kinatawan ng mga katutubo sa lungsod, aking ipinapaabot ang aking malaking pasasalamat sa Department of Education at sa kanilang programang Indigenous Peoples Education (IPEd), na naging daan upang maisagawa ang ganitong klaseng programa sa ating paaralan. Ang mga inisyatibong ito ay napakahalaga sa pagtataguyod ng de-kalidad na edukasyon para sa ating mga kabataang katutubo, habang pinangangalagaan at pinalalalim ang kanilang pagkakakilanlan bilang mga katutubo.

Sa araw na ito, ipinagdiriwang natin ang ating mga pamilyang katutubo at ang kanilang mahalagang papel sa paghubog ng kinabukasan ng ating mga mag-aaral. ๐Ÿ’–

Ngayong araw ay matagumpay na ginanap ang ika-8 taong pagdiriwang ng Indigenous Peoples Day sa Barangay Assumption!

Sa kabila ng mga hamon ng panahon, patuloy na pinagtitibay ng ating komunidad ang pagkakaisa at aktibong pakikilahok sa mga programa ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Lungsod ng Koronadal. Ang makabuluhang partisipasyon ng bawat isa ay patunay ng ating dedikasyon sa pagpapanatili at pagpapalago ng mga katutubong tradisyon at kultura.

Sa araw na ito, tampok ang mga makukulay na kasuotan, tradisyonal na kagamitan, mga sayaw na sumasalamin sa ating mayamang kultura, at siyempre, ang mga masasarap na Indigenous Foods na nagbigay-buhay sa selebrasyon.
