Incoming President Donald Trump is set to issue a series of executive orders on Monday targeting diversity programs and gender identity policies, aiming to fulfill controversial campaign promises to counter "woke" culture.
An incoming White House official revealed that Trump will direct the U.S. government to officially recognize only two biological sexes and will terminate federal diversity programs. These measures are likely to face significant legal challenges.
"Our policy establishes that the United States recognizes two sexes: male and female," the official stated. "For example, the Department of Treasury previously funded diversity training suggesting all white people contribute to racism, regardless of their level of awareness. We intend to eliminate such programs and funding."
Trump also plans to urge Congress to pass legislation defining male and female, assigned at birth, as the only genders recognized by the federal government, according to his policy agenda.
Throughout his campaign, Trump criticized diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in government and corporate sectors, claiming they unfairly targeted white men and perpetuated discrimination.
