Umabot 1,395 na mga pamilya o 6,431 na mga indibidwal sa Eastern Visayas ang nananatili sa mga evacuation centers dahil sa pagtama ng Bagyo Enteng.
Sa datos ng PNP, umabot sa 16 na mga barangay sa Allen, Lavezares, at sa Lope de Vega Northern Samar ang minaha.
Binaha rin ang ilang mga barangay sa Catarman, Palapag, Mapanas, Rosario, Mondragon, Catubig, sa San Roque sa nasabing probinsya.
Nagpapatuloy naman ang rescue operation sa Biri, Northern Samar dahil sa nangyaring landslide sa lugar.
Wa ring supply ng kuryente sa 82 na mga barangay habang 15 naman na mga lugar ang wala pang linya ng kumunikasyon.
Nasa 980 naman na pasahero at 186 na mga sasakyan ang stranded dahil sa hindi pa pinahihintulotan makabiyahe ang mga sakayang pandagat sa Sorsogon at Luzon.

Kalibo, Aklan - Nababahala na ang pamilya ng isang 35-anyos na Ginang ito'y matapos hindi na nakauwi sa kanilang bahay sa loob nang halos dalawang (2) linggo.
Kinilala ang Ginang kay Rhea Sambrona, residente ng Luctoga, Libacao, at may anak na sampung (10) taong gulang, at nagtatrabaho bilang isang kasambahay sa bayan ng Kalibo.
Ayon kay Ernesto Sambrona, ama ng nawawalang Ginang, wala silang kaalam-alam kung saan nagpunta ang kaniyang anak at wala din silang contact sa kaniya, dagdag pa na hindi manlang ito tumatawag sa kanila.

Ang tricycle driver ay isang utility sa Provincial Hospital, habang ang driver ng kotse at isang negosyante na may puwesto sa Kalibo Shopping Center.
Napag-alaman na tinutumbok ng kotse ang kalsada sa Martelino Street habang ang tricycle naman ay sa Archbishop Gabriel M. Reyes Street.
Ayon sa tricycle driver ay mabilis umano ang takbo ng kotse na dahilan ng kanilang banggaan, kung kaya't nagtamo ito ng pananakit ng katawan at gasgas sa braso.
Ayon naman sa driver ng kotse nasa kalagitnaan na ito ng intersection ng dumeretso pa umano ang tricycle.

Itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. bilang special economic zone (SEZ) ang isang gusali sa Mandurriao, Iloilo City at pinalawak din ang Lima Technology Center-Special Economic Zone sa Malvar, Batangas.
Batay sa Proclamation Nos. 668 at 670, ang deklarasyon ay kasunod ng rekomendasyon ng Board of Directors ng Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).
Sa ilalim ng Proclamation No. 668, nagtalaga ng isang gusali at lupa kung saan nakatayo ang Information Technology Center sa Iloilo City sa isla ng Panay para gawing economic center at tatawaging Grid.
Ayon sa PEZA, ang pagtatatag ng mga economic zone sa bansa ay para sa foreign investments.
Sa kasalukuyan ay may 419 economic zone sa bansa, kung saan 297 dito ay mga information technology park o center.
National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) pinatawan ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) ng multang ₱3.5 milyon dahil sa kabiguang maabot ang mga iskedyul ng implementasyon ng 10 CAPEX o capital expenditure projects o mga transmission projects
Pinatawan ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) ng multang ₱3.5 milyon ang National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) dahil sa kabiguang maabot ang mga iskedyul ng implementasyon ng 10 CAPEX o capital expenditure projects o mga transmission projects.
Ayon sa ERC, ang desisyon ay may petsang June 25, 2024, at inilabas nitong August 31, 2024, kung saan nakasaad na kabilang sa mga na-delay na proyekto ng NGCP ang:
• Baloi-Kauswagan-Aurora 230kV Transmission Line Project (Phase 2);
• Kauswagan-Lala 230kV Transmission Line Project;
• Pagbilao extra high voltage (EHV) Substation Project;
• Antipolo EHV Substation Project;
• Tuy (Calaca) Dasmariñas 500kV Transmission Line Project;
• Cebu-Lapu-Lapu Transmission Project;
• Cebu-Negros-Panay (CNP) 230kV Backbone Project Stage 3, at
• Tacurong-Kalamansig 69kV Line.
Sa naturang desisyon, iginiit ng ERC ang obligasyon ng NGCP na sumunod sa project timeline na kanilang inaprubahan nang i-apply ito para sa CAPEX projects.
Ang mga pagkaantala anila sa pagpapatupad sa anumang capital expenditure projects ay lubhang nakakaapekto sa reliability ng grid at abilidad ng transmission system na tumanggap ng mga bagong power capacities.

Malay, Aklan – Nakatakdang magbukas ang isang beach para sa mga kababaihang Muslim ngayong Setyembre 10, sa isla ng Boracay, Malay, Aklan.

MALAY PNP NAGDIRIWANG NG IKA 30TH NATIONAL CRIME PREVENTION WEEK 2024
Ang Malay PNP sa pangunguna ni PLTCOL. Mar Joseph B. Ravelo, COP sa pkikipagtulongan ng Municipal Peace and Order Council at Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council na pinangungunahan ni Mayor Frolibar Bautista ay nagsagawa ng recorida/motorcade bilang bahagi ng 30th National Crime Prevention Week ( September 1-17, 2024).
Ang pagdiriwang ay may temang: " Kabataan Tara na, sa Crime Prevention Kaisa Ka".
Dinaluhan Ang nasabing recorida/motorcade ng 17 Barangay asama ang kani-kanilang miyembro ng konseho at lahat ng miyembro ng Municipal Peace and Order Council.

LOOK: Dalawa ang sugatan mula sa nangyaring pananaga kagabi, Sabado, Agosto 31 sa Brgy. Marianos, Numancia, Aklan.
Ayon sa MDRRMO Numancia, nakatanggap ang personnel nito ng tawag na humihingi ng tulong medikal dahil sa nangyaring Hacking Incident sa nasabing lugar.
Sa ulat ng MDRRMO Numancia, ang isang lalaki ay nagtamo ng tama ng taga sa kaliwang bahagi ng mukha, sugat sa kilay at lower chest area.
Samantala, ang isang lalaki ay nagtamo ng sugat sa noo, sugat sa kaliwang balikat at sa upper extremities.
Nilapatan naman ng paunang lunas ng MDRRMO ang natamong sugat ng dalawa, at agad na idinala sa hospital sa bayan ng Kalibo para sa karagdagang paggamot.
Standby sa karagdagang detalye at sa imbestigasyon ng Numancia PNP sa nangyaring hacking incident.

THE LOW PRESSURE AREA EAST OF EASTERN VISAYAS HAS DEVELOPED INTO
TROPICAL DEPRESSION “ENTENG”.
• Location of Center (10:00 AM)
The center of Tropical Depression ENTENG was estimated based on all available data at 120 km North Northeast of Borongan City, Eastern Samar or 150 km East of Catarman, Northern Samar (12.6°N, 126.0°E)
• Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 45 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 55 km/h, and central pressure of 1002 hPa
• Present Movement
Northwestward at 30 km/h
• Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong winds extend outwards up to 150 km from the center

Heavy Rainfall Outlook
Forecast accumulated rainfall: Today to tomorrow noon (2 September)
• 100-200 mm: Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, and Biliran
• 50-100 mm: Quezon, Marinduque, Romblon, and the rest of Eastern Visayas
Forecast accumulated rainfall: Tomorrow noon to Tuesday noon (3 September)
• 100-200 mm: Isabela
• 50-100 mm: Cagayan, Quirino, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Abra, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur.
Forecast accumulated rainfall: Tuesday noon to Wednesday noon (4 September)
• 100-200 mm: Babuyan Islands
• 50-100 mm: Batanes, mainland Cagayan, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Abra, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur
Forecast rainfall are generally higher in elevated or mountainous areas. Under these conditions, flooding and rain-induced landslides are likely especially in areas that are highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards as identified in official hazard maps and in localities that experienced considerable amounts of rainfall for the past several days.
Furthermore, the enhanced Southwest Monsoon will bring moderate to intense rainfall in other areas of Luzon and Visayas (especially along the western portions). For more information, refer to Weather Advisory No. 3 issued at 11:00 AM today.
Severe Winds
The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction.
• Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1.
The highest possible Wind Signal that may be hoisted during the passage of ENTENG is Wind Signal No. 2 or 3.
The enhanced Southwest Monsoon will also bring strong to gale-force gusts over the following areas (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds):
• From today to tomorrow noon: MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, Eastern Visayas (outside Wind Signal areas), Caraga Region, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula
• From tomorrow noon to Tuesday noon: Zambales, Bataan, Aurora, Bulacan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, Visayas, and Caraga Region.
• From Tuesday noon to Wednesday noon: Zambales, Bataan, Aurora, Bulacan, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas.
HAZARDS AFFECTING COASTAL WATERS
In the next 24 hours, ENTENG and the enhanced Southwest Monsoon will bring the following conditions over the coastal waters of the country:
• Moderate to rough seas over the eastern seaboards of Central Luzon and Southern Luzon (1.5 to 3.5 m), the seaboard of Northern Samar, the eastern seaboard of Eastern Samar, and the seaboard of Kalayaan Islands (1.5 to 3.0 m). Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced or operating ill-equipped vessels.
• Moderate seas are expected over the remaining seaboards of Bicol Region, Palawan, and Eastern Visayas, the seaboard of Western Visayas, the northern and eastern seaboard of Caraga Region, and the eastern seaboard of Davao Oriental (1.5 to 2.5 m). Slight to moderate seas are possible for the eastern seaboard of mainland Northern Luzon, the southern seaboard of CALABARZON, the remaining seaboards of MIMAROPA and Caraga Region, the seaboard of Northern Mindanao, the eastern seaboard of Davao Occidental (1.0 to 2.0 m). Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions.
TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
• ENTENG is forecast to move generally northwestward to north northwestward today, then becoming more northward tomorrow (2 September) while gradually intensifying. On the forecast track, a landfall and passage over the localities in Bicol Region-Eastern Visayas area is not ruled out within the next 48 hours. Furthermore, this tropical depression may reach tropical storm category by tomorrow.
• From Tuesday (3 September) to the end of the forecast period, ENTENG is forecast to move erratically while near or over the Luzon Strait. Intensification may continue during this period, with ENTENG potentially reaching severe tropical storm category by Thursday (5 September)
Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials. For heavy rainfall warnings, thunderstorm/rainfall advisories, and other severe weather information specific to your area, please monitor products issued by your local PAGASA Regional Services Division.
