SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm "KRISTINE" {TRAMI} was estimated based on all available data at 360 km East of Infanta, Quezon (15.0°N, 125.0°E) with maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 105 km/h. It is moving West Northwestward at 25 km/h.

FORECAST:

The whole Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will have rains and gusty winds due to TS Kristine.

The whole Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will experience strong winds from Northwest to Southwest with rough seas.

Prioritizing the safety of all LGU personnel, work suspension will be implemented on October 23, 2024, for all LGU Kalibo Municipal Offices due to the PAGASA Heavy Rainfall warning.

However, offices whose functions involve calamity/emergency-related response such as responders and drivers, security related personnel such as Watchmen and members of the Kalibo Auxiliary Police, health and other vital services shall be available to address any contingencies. Furthermore, a skeleton force shall be maintained per office to address immediate concerns.
