QUALIFICATIONS:
✓ INFANTAHIN (1 Representative Per Brgy.)
✓ 36 Contestants Only
✓ 15 years old and Above

COMPETITION GUIDELINES:
Individuals will compete in this category respecting the following guidelines:

Only individual contestants are eligible, no multiple singers or additional instruments may be used.
Each contestant will need to prepare three songs
(5-6 minutes/ 3 song maximum).
-1 songs for the first round
-1 song for the semi-final
-1 song for the final
✓ Each contestant is free to select his/her songs from any genre as long as Tagalog & English. Assortment of styles is highly recommended.
Each contestant will need to start by introducing himself/herself, his/her Brgy's and the title of the song he/she would be singing.
✓ Contestants should be trained to sing in an expressive and spirited way. They should be able to articulate well. They must be proficient in the use of microphones.
✓ The total length of any song may not
exceed 6 minutes.
Contestants must sing to prerecorded music (backing track); no live playing on musical instruments shall be allowed.
✓ The songs and lyrics must be memorized; no video screens will be used.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:
Vocalists will be judged based on the criteria listed below:
•VOCAL SKILLS INCLUDES:(50%)
Pitch and Breath Control, Quality of voice
Dynamics, Phrasing, Enunciation, and Tone;
Voice Range and Singing Intervals;
Ornaments and Embellishments added to the melody
•PRESENTATION SKILLS INCLUDES: (25%)
- Eye Contact, Body Expression,Facial Expression.
-Attire and Microphone technique
•CHOICE OF MATERIAL: (15%)
-Song Suitability to the contestant's voice & style.
•AUDIENCE IMPACT:(10%)
