Summit assault to Mt. Pulag from Saddle Camp, Akiki Trail.
Story: Original plan for this hike was via Akiki Trail as entry point and via Ambangeg Trail as exit point. We attended orientation and briefing at DENR prior the hike. However, due to increment weather in some areas where Akiki Trail situated, we were advised not to take the trail as planned. We followed. What we did was we stayed one night in Babadak Ranger Station. Took the Ambangeg trail the next day up to summit then decent to Akiki's Saddle camp. We stayed one night at the Saddle camp. We woke up early and conducted summit assault to witness the sea of clowds. We were blessed that we saw it. My clearing! Back to Saddle Camp, break camp and then headed back to Babadak Ranger Station.
Blessed to hike Luzon's Highest mountain na peaceful pa. Peaceful in a way na walang traffic sa trail. Those were the days.
