PRO-6 Statement
Camp Delgado, Iloilo City - The Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) vehemently condemns the recent shooting incident happened at Barangay Tinucuan, Duenas, Iloilo on December 5, 2024 at around 9:30 in the morning that resulted to the death of Punong Barangay Michelle Lamela and her husband, Rodney Lamela.
The couple was shot by unidentified suspects while riding on a motorcycle.
PRO-6 Director, Police Brigadier General Jack L W***y, said that thorough investigation is being undertaken to gather necessary evidence to identify the perpetrators.
“The suspects action is a gross violation of our law. We will ensure that justice is served to the victims,” he said.
PRO-6 also calls on anyone with information regarding this incident to come forward and cooperate.
“We extend our deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of Punong Barangay Michelle Lamela and her husband during this difficult time,” PBGen W***y added.
