Sa kaalaman ng marami, isa sa mga pangunahing tungkulin ng ating OWWA RAD Team ay ang pag-aalalay at pag-aasikaso sa ating mga OFW na nangangailangan ng tulong. Kahapon lamang ay nakapagbigay tayo ng mahalagang suporta sa isang OFW na dating nagtrabaho sa Kuwait. Sa kasalukuyan, siya ay bedridden at nangangailangan ng mechanical ventilator dahil sa pagiging stroke noong 2021.

Napakalaking karangalan na maging bahagi ng prosesong ito na hindi lamang naglalaman ng pag-alalay sa kanya mula sa Philippine General Hospital patungo sa NAIA Terminal 2, kundi pati na rin ang pag-aasikaso ng mga kinakailangang dokumento para sa kanyang pag-uwi sa Davao.

Sa pagdating niya sa Davao, agad din siyang inalalayan at tinulungan ng ating OWWA team sa Region XI. Ang kanyang kuwento ay patunay ng dedikasyon ng ating mga bayani sa ibang bansa at ng halaga ng pagkakaroon ng suporta at pagmamahal mula sa ating bansa.

The public is advised that the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) has been renamed Migrant Workers Office (MWO) following the creation of a new Department for Migrant Workers, per Republic Act No. 11641.

In this regard, POLO-Singapore will now be known as MWO-Singapore. For labor-related inquiries and concerns, please email MWO-Singapore through the following new email addresses beginning today, 4 January 2023.
