As I look back at everything that is going on in my life,

I think I haven't done so much in my life yet.

It seems that I am just really starting to create my definition of life, trying to figure out what purpose to set and hold to live a fulfilling life.

I feel like I am lost in the wild, not knowing where to go or what path to take. Adrift in the unknown territory.

Like everyone, I am scared yet have no choice but to numb myself with those fears until I finally understand that to live is to dive into the depths of grief and joy and feel all the random emotions that come in between, without being in denial of their existence.

So now, I am trying to familiarize myself with all the emotions that come from my fears and to accept them as part of me, a little portion of my entirety as a human being, while understanding the many other parts that comprise me and the life I am living.

I aim to experience not only the best this life can offer but also the worst, which builds character and mindset. In short, I want to be a person who is tested by time, who can take pressure, and who is flexible enough to adjust to whatever situation is at hand.

I don't know how long it will take to get me there, but I am holding on to every moment a new movie comes out, when I listen to a good song and feel comforted, when I read a book and it takes me somewhere, an escape from the loud noises of reality that is happening around.

I don't know where this is all going, but every now and then, I look back to the time when the sky was beautiful, when the sunset reminded me of a certain feeling I don't quite understand. I think it will get better, and even if it's not. There are still songs to listen, and moments to just lay down and think of everything.

I know it takes a lot of courage to remain soft in this cruel world. It takes a great amount of patience to wait for your dreams to bloom. So let your fire burn hard, dear dreamer. Go out there and keep moving, no matter how slow, I think the world can wait.
