✅ Kausapin ng malumanay ang mga bata patungkol sa inyong sitwasyon.

Join us to the 8th Kasapatan at Ugnayan ng Mamayan sa Akmang Pagkain at Nutrisyon (KUMAIN) Webinar Series on Monday, 06 September 2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM via Zoom Teleconference.

This KUMAIN Webinar Series will be conducted to inform and encourage Local Government Units (LGUs) to invest in the food technologies of the Department of Science and Technology-Food and Nutrition Research Institute (DOST-FNRl). Further, this aims to increase the availability of nutritious food products in the local markets and to include the other DOST-FNRl food technologies in our institutional feeding programs.

The objectives of holding KUMAIN Webinar on DOST- FNRI Food Technologies are:

1. To inform more LGUs about the FNRI food technologies and their benefits;
2. To solicit support and encourage potential food technologies adoption by more LGUs; and,
3. To elicit strong collaboration between the national government, local governments and other stakeholders in including other available FNRI food technologies as a means to effectively address the problem of malnutrition and hunger in our country.

The target participants of this activity are the LGU partners of the DILG.

This KUMAIN Webinar Series is being made possible by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Zero Hunger with the
Office of the Cabinet Secretariat, DOST– FNRI, National Nutrition Council, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Presidential Communications Operations Office and local government units.

The event will be streamed live on the pages of the DOST –FNRI, Task Force Zero Hunger. The Cabinet Secretariat and Karlo Nograles.

Narito ang mga rice tips upang makontrol ang mga pesteng aksip:
1. Sundin ang integrated pest management. Paramihin ang mga kaibigang organismo gaya ng putakti, gagamba, pagong- pagongan, tutubi, pati na ang mga pathogens o sakit na umaatake sa mga uod nito.
2. Ang mga aksip ay mahirap kontrolin gamit ang insektisidyo dahil ang mga uod nito ay nasa loob na ng puno ng palay. Ang tamang panahon ng pag-apply ng insektisidyo ay kritikal sa pagkontrol ng mga uod ng aksip.
3. Para malaman kung kailangang magbomba ng insektisidyo, bilangin ang populasyon ng mga paruparo at ang mga itlog nito sa bukid. Ilagay sa isang lalagyan at hintaying mapisa. Kung mas maraming mga uod, kailangang mag-spray sa loob ng 2 araw. Kung marami ang mga putakti, hindi kailangang mag-spray.
4. Gapasin ang palay hanggang sa puno nito para matanggal ang pinamamahayan ng mga aksip matapos mag-ani.
5. Araruhin at patubigan ang bukid pagkatapos umani para mamatay ang uod at uod-tulog sa loob ng pasyok.
