Bilang isang youth pastor, sa personal kung pagkakaunawa with the help of the holy spirit, ang pagsimba ay katulad ng pag-aaral at pagtatrabaho. Mula pagkabata, nasanay na tayo sa pagdalo ng klase—mula nursery hanggang kolehiyo. Kapag tinatawag ng guro, sumasagot tayo ng "Present!" Pagkatapos ng pag-aaral, sa trabaho naman tayo, at dito, mahalaga rin ang attendance: kapag madalas mag-absent, maaaring masuspinde, at kung sobra-sobra, maaari pang matanggal.
Kaya ang pagsimba ay mahalaga dahil tulad ng listahan ng guro at employer, may listahan din ang Diyos we called it Book of Life. Ang ating pagsimba ay isang paraan ng pagpapakita ng pagmamahal natin sa Kanya, dahil minahal Niya tayo nang una. Doon tayo nakakatanggap ng karunungan at lakas na at lakas na makakatulong sa atin sa pagharap sa mga pagsubok sa buhay. Kung palagi nating isinasantabi ang pagsimba, paano tayo magiging handa para sa mga pagsubok? Sabi nga sa Kanyang salita sa Hebrew 10:24-25, kailangan nating magtulungan at magpalakasan sa isa’t isa, lalo na sa pamamagitan ng ating patuloy na pagdalo sa pagsamba.

PRAYER FOR A “SERVANT HEART”
Loving and Merciful Father,
Here I am, grant me the humility of a servant's heart, inspired by the example of Jesus Christ. Help me to prioritize the needs of others above my own, showing genuine care and compassion in all my interactions.
Guide me to live out (Philippians 2:3), setting aside selfish ambition and embracing humility as I serve You and those around me. May my life reflect Your love and grace, bringing glory to Your name.

Loving and Merciful Father,
Today, I come to you with a heavy heart, burdened by feelings of envy, anger, and self-centeredness. I acknowledge that these emotions do not align with the person you have called me to be. In this moment, I am reminded of the words of (Psalm 51:10), 'Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Lord, I humbly ask for your help. Grant me the grace to cultivate a heart that seeks to love and understand others, rather than to judge and condemn. Teach me to embrace humility and compassion in all my interactions.
