"MARCIONISM ROOTS OF HYPER-GRACE"

Kagabi pa ko naluluha dahil sa mga nagtutulak ng theology na yan dahil NILAPASTANGAN nila yung Diyos na PINAG-ALAYAN ko ng buhay ko. I have been serving the Lord for the last 15yrs at never akong nakarinig ng gantong "aral" na tahasang BINABALAHURA ang NAME OF YAHWEH at BINABASTOS ang DIVINITY NI YAHWEH.

BULATLATIN nga natin itong HYPER-GRACE rooted in MARCIONISM theology na ito na BUMASTOS kay God thd Father sa mga VIDEOS na nagcicirculate online. Dami nyong nagta-tag at nagchachat sakin.

MARCIONISM is a THEOLOGICAL BELIEF SYSTEM that emerged in the early Christian era, primarily through the teachings of Marcion of Sinope in the second century. Marcionism is characterized by a dualistic view of the world and a REJECTION of the OLD TESTAMENT and its GOD. Marcion taught that the God of the Old Testament was a LESSER, WRATHFUL DEITY distinct from the ALMIGHTY GOD revealed by Jesus Christ in the New Testament. He ARGUED that Jesus was the son of this higher, previously unknown God, and therefore, CHRISTIANS SHOULD DISREGARD the OLD TESTAMENT and its TEACHINGS. Marcionism significantly influenced early Christian debates about the nature of God, the canon of Scripture, and the relationship between Christianity and Judaism.

On the other hand, the Hyper-grace movement, which emphasizes the GRACE OF GOD to the exclusion of other biblical teachings such as repentance and confession of sins, finds its roots increasingly INTERTWINED with MARCIONISM. Advocates of HYPER-GRACE often downplay the MORAL and ETHICAL demands of the Old Testament, portraying them as IRRELEVANT in the light of New Testament grace. This mirrors MARION'S REJECTION of the OLD TESTAMENT and its GOD, as Hyper-grace theology similarly tends to dismiss the CONTINUITY and UNITY of God's revelation throughout the ENTIRETY of SCRIPTURE. By adopting a FOUNDATION that links to MARCIONISM, the HYPER-GRACE MOVEMENT risks promoting a FRAGMENTED and INCOMPLETE understanding of the Christian faith, one that neglects the call to HOLINESS and OBEDIENCE that is central to the BIBLICAL MESSAGE.

The HYPER-GRACE MOVEMENT is essentially ROOTED in MARCIONISM, sharing many of its FUNDAMENTAL ERRORS and BELIEFS. Here are the key points showing how HYPER-GRACE THEOLOGY aligns directly with MARCIONISM:

1. REJECTING PARTS OF THE BIBLE:
Just like Marcionism, the Hyper-grace movement dismisses the Old Testament, considering it irrelevant for modern Christians. This rejection is a clear echo of Marcion’s teaching that the Old Testament God is different and inferior to the New Testament God. By ignoring the Old Testament, the Hyper-grace movement follows Marcion’s heretical path, leading to a fragmented understanding of Scripture.
Tayo na lang ba talaga ang mamimili sa bible kung ano ang WORD OF GOD at hindi ALL SCRIPTURES IS GOD INSPIRED?

2. NEGLECTING REPENTANCE AND FORGIVENESS:
Marcionism and Hyper-grace both undermine the necessity of daily repentance and seeking forgiveness. Marcion dismissed the Old Testament’s moral laws, while the Hyper-grace movement teaches that all sins are automatically forgiven after accepting Jesus, without the need for ongoing repentance. This distortion mirrors Marcion’s flawed view of a disconnected, lenient God, ignoring the biblical call for continuous repentance and holiness. WALA NA BA TALAGANG TEACHING NG HOLINESS SA BIBLE? BURAHIN NA BA NATIN LAHAT YUN?

3. PROMOTING ETERNAL SECURITY WITHOUT ACCOUNTABILITY:
Marcion taught a separation between the Old and New Testament gods, suggesting a break in moral continuity. The Hyper-grace movement similarly preaches that salvation don't need to produce fruits of transformed life, regardless of one’s actions post-conversion. This belief promotes a lack of accountability, mirroring Marcion’s disregard for the moral teachings and warnings present throughout the whole Bible. KAHIT DI MAGBAGO, MAHALAGA MAHAL TAYO NG JESUSNESS GANUN BA?

4. DUALISTIC VIEW OF GOD:
The Hyper-grace movement directly adopts Marcion’s dualistic view of God by portraying the Old Testament deity as wrathful and the New Testament God as purely loving. This creates a false dichotomy, ignoring the consistent nature of God’s justice and mercy throughout the entire Bible. By following Marcion’s dualism, Hyper-grace theology distorts the true character of God.
PAANO NAGING MAGKAIBA EH ANG KINO-QOUTE NI JESUS PALAGI AY OLD TESTAMENT?

5. IGNORING COMMANDMENTS AND MORAL TEACHINGS:
Marcion discarded the Old Testament laws, claiming they were irrelevant. Similarly, the Hyper-grace movement, is NOT emphasizing the importance of biblical commandments and moral guidelines. This leads to a lifestyle that neglects the ethical teachings of Jesus and the apostles, essentially adopting Marcion’s heretical disregard for God’s holistic instruction. DUMATING NGA DITO SI LORD NOT TO ABOLISH THE LAW BUT TO FULFILL IT TAPOS KAYO ALIS NG ALIS NG LAW? SO ANO? MAGPATAYAN NA TAYO LAHAT? MAGNAKAW NA TAYO LAHAT? MAGMURAHAN TAYO NG MAGULANG LAHAT? ANO BA NAMAN?

6. PERMITTING LGBT THEOLOGY:
The Hyper-grace movement’s dismissal of Old Testament moral laws and commandments creates an environment where alternative theologies, such as LGBT-affirming theology, can thrive. By ignoring or reinterpreting biblical passages that address s*xuality, Hyper-grace theology follows Marcion’s lead in reshaping Scripture to fit contemporary cultural norms. This approach disregards the consistent biblical teachings on s*xuality found in both Testaments, reflecting Marcion’s selective acceptance of Scripture to support a preferred narrative. AT ITO NA SIGURO PINAKADAHILAN NILA.

BODY OF CHRIST must be AWARE sa gantong TEACHING. Kung makita nyong BINABALAHURA, BINABALASUBAS, AT BINABASTOS ang DIYOS NG OLD TESTAMENT na laging BINABANGGIT NI JESUS, MAG ISIP KA NA, AT BAKA NASA MALING KATURUAN KA.

When a person can't find a deep sense of meaning, they distract themselves with pleasure (Viktor Frankl).

Growing up in a house where I was only encouraged to read academic books which never seems less interesting, my source of entertainment was television. It become worse as I grow older because I was not an outgoing child and coming from a small family where it was just my parents, my brother who was is my only sibling and I, I watched television at any chance I got.

When I started working, the only thing I could think of when knocking was what program I was going to watch. Who ever thought one day I would agree with Emilia Clarke when She said "My father always said, 'Never trust anyone whose TV is bigger than their book shelf' - so I make sure I read." And of course I do agree with Zig Ziglar who said “Rich people have small TVs and big libraries, and poor people have small libraries and big TVs.” I've written about how I rediscovered my self and started reading Today I would rather read than watch Television and am very convienced that anyone can change and become the best version of themselves no matter their background.

Today if you came to me with a list of excuses as to why you can't change I will only tell you that you are not yet ready to change. People who want to change for the better always find a way. Yes change is difficult especially in a world where you are required to live a certain way and to fit in but it will be worth it. It would happen overnight and you don't have to beat yourself for not changing overnight. Change is gradual . Take it One step at time. It is painful but worth . I would rather endure the pain of change than the pain of regret.

I used to watch television because I couldn't think of anything else. I had no plans with my life except going to school and watching television. When people feel unfilled and lack a sense of meaning and direction in life, they look outside themselves to feel the void. They may turn to alcohol, s*x, material things or even other people. But those things only bring temporary satisfaction. True happiness and fulfillment are found within. It is because of lack of direction and purpose that today we find people killing themselves when another person disappoints them. "When there is no enemy within, the enemy outside cannot do you any harm" (African Proverb). Now don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with watching television but It depends on what you watch it as the saying goes, "Television Is a good servant but a terrible master". What you consume controls you. It's ok to be entertained but if you use it because you are empty you will only get temporal fulfillment.

There is something interesting I remember when I was a full-time television fan, there were times I would go check for programmes to watch and sometimes find would find nothing interesting that was new and guess what I would do. I wouldn't switch off the television, instead I would check for programmes that I had watched before and still watch them because they were interesting. That is exactly how many of us today are living our lives. We see nothing ahead of us and we therefore go back in time to relive the moments that seemed interesting. There are people who are so proud of their past they will not say a word about their future. Stop living in the past which you can't change. A man without vision for his future always returns to his past.

You have to be excited about your future no matter how old you are. Yes your past is important because it bring you to where you are today but what you should focus on now is where you are going and make sure it's better than your past.

Now, it's time to turn your worries into worship. You're not getting idle here, love. You're declaring victory.

Because the more we worship, the more we trust the God who can move mountains. The more we worship, the more we show God that we believe He can deliver us through every troubles.

When there's worship and praises, there's where God is. He dwells with us as we pour our praises to Him.

Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel. (Psalms 22:3 NLT)

So if you feel like you can't feel God today, worship.

He said, “Listen, all you people of Judah and Jerusalem! Listen, King Jehoshaphat! This is what the Lord says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. (2 Chronicles 20:15)
