The recently concluded 4th Congressional District Meet held at Partido State University swimming pool on February 3-4 saw an exciting swimming competition, with Goa District dominating the medals table.

The swimming competition at Partido State University showcased the talents of young swimmers, who vied for top honors in their respective categories.

𝗚𝗼𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 dominates the 4th Congressional District Meet, clinching the 5x5 and 3x3 boys basketball championships over Caramoan and Siruma at Loho Elementary School Covered Court on February 3 to 5, 2025.

𝗚𝗼𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 proved unstoppable in the basketball tournament, dominating both the 5x5 and 3x3 boys divisions with decisive wins. They first took down Caramoan in the 5x5 opener before securing the championship against Siruma in the final match. Meanwhile, in the 3x3 category, Goa overcame Garchitorena, Presentacion, and Tinambac, securing their dominance on the court. On the other hand, 𝗦𝗶𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 displayed resilience, capturing the girls' 3x3 championship after a thrilling final match against Goa.

The tournament was led by Tournament Manager Antonio O. Linzo, with technical officials Alma Patoc, James Bacares, and Patrick Paul Prado ensuring smooth and fair play throughout the event.

The tournament was packed with intense matchups and game-changing moments, where every win was earned through teamwork, grit, and a strong will to succeed.

The 4th Congressional District Meet – Secondary Boys Standard Chess Game was a battlefield of minds, as student chess prodigies from various districts clashed in intense matches in Lagonoy, Camarines Sur. With every move carrying weight, the tournament saw breathtaking endgames and stunning upsets, keeping spectators on the edge of their seats.

Top Finishers:
🥇 Richmer Flores (Lagonoy-1) – A masterclass performance with 5 points, dominating the competition with precision and strategy.
🥈 Terrence John Formalejo (San Jose-1) and Frankie Leus Jr. (Tigaon-1) – Tied at 4 points, proving their prowess in tactical play.
🥉 Reyner Labanon (Tigaon 2), Reymart Recto (Presentacion-2), Mark Nerwin Batacao (Caramoan-1), Joecez Caneba (Tinambac 2), and Angelo San Juan ( Goa-2)– Tied at 3 points, showing excellent board control.

The event, directed by Frederick Milante and Rocky Permelona, and officiated by Chief Arbiter Ricky D. Besco, showcased the sheer determination of these players. With each round, they battled fiercely, testing their strategic depth and ability to anticipate their opponent’s next move. With the passion and dedication displayed, these players are now setting their sights on even bigger competitions ahead.

Remarkable kicks, satisfying blitz, and muffs, racing with all might to sn**ch championship glory.

Goa, Camarines Sur - the Tigaon secondary football team claimed the championship title in the 4th Congressional District Meet, emerging victorious in the double-elimination tournament held from February 3 to 5, 2025, at the Goa National High School Ground A.

The competition featured five teams:
Tinambac, Goa, Presentacion, Caramoan, and Tigaon. Despite early setbacks, Tigaon displayed resilience, battling through the bracket to secure championship in a thrilling final against Presentacion

The tournament opened with Tinambac defeating Goa. In Game 2, Presentacion took an early win over Caramoan, eliminating them from the competition.

In Game 3, Tigaon overcame Tinambac, immediately putting Tinambac out of the picture for the championship match.
Meanwhile, Tinambac faced Goa in Game 4, then emerged victorious, leaving Goa the 3rd runner-up of the tournament.

Presentacion then clashed with Tinambac, setting the stage for an intense battle in the competition. Presentacion emerged triumphant, setting Tinambac as the 2nd runner-up of the tournament. That leaves the burning stage for Presentacion and Tigaon.

In a highly anticipated title match, Tigaon outclassed Presentacion to claim the gold medal. Their tactical gameplay and solid teamwork proved decisive, capping off an impressive tournament run.

With this victory, Tigaon cements itself as the top football team in the district, proving their dominance and setting high expectations for future competitions.

Under the blazing heat, the participants in archery aims their bow and arrow as they stood up to represent their schools and district during the Palarong Partido 2025, last January 17-18 at San Roque Elementary School, Lagonoy Camarines Sur.

Archers from different schools participated in many categories, clinching various places as they competed. After an intense battle on the field, these are the districts who emerged victory in the Archery Tournament.

For boys category, the Tigaon District got 8 golds and 1 bronze, Tinambac District clinched 8 silvers and 6 bronzes and San Jose district attained 2 bronzes.

For girls category, the Tinambac District obtained 4 golds, 3 silvers and 2 bronzes. While, San Jose District garnered 3 golds, 4 silvers and 4 bronzes, and Goa District acquired 1 bronze.

The event was facilitated by Mr. Eliodoro G. Israel, Jr., the tournament manager and Karen I. Valencia, tournament secretary.

The Palarong Partido 2025 officially started on the 3rd day of February held at San Ramon Elementary School as the opening ground for all the delegates and athletes coming from various schools in the 4th District of Camarines Sur.

The program started at 8:00 AM with a grand parade featuring delegates from Caramoan East, Caramoan North, Caramoan South, Garchitorena, Goa 1, Goa 2, Lagonoy North, Lagonoy South, Presentacion 1, Presentacion 2, Sagñay, San Jose, Siruma, Tigaon, Tinambac East, Tinambac North, and Tinambac South. They proudly marched as representatives of their districts. This was followed by the hoisting of flags and banners.

The opening ceremony commenced with an opening prayer led by Principal Salve R. Palo, followed by the Philippine National Anthem conducted by Nancy P. Asetre. To further uplift the participants, Hon. Dante L. Buenafe, Punong Barangay of San Ramon, delivered a motivating message.

As a symbol of unity and sportsmanship, the Friendship Urn was lit, followed by the Oath of Amateurism, where athletes pledged their commitment to fair play and integrity throughout the competition.

Goa District’s taekwondo team dominated the 2025 Partido Congressional Meet, securing 13 gold medals and claiming the Overall Champion title. The event took place from February 3-5, 2025 at the Santa Maria Covered Court. It demonstrated the team’s skill, determination, and dominance.

In Poomsae, Ronjay Del Castilo and Raizanel Belleza topped the Boys’ and Girls’ Category A, while Mark Eunices Berdin and Rigell Duran triumphed in the Mixed category to secure gold. The Team event added to their success, with Ethan Zamel Necerio and Katrina Faye Aperocho, clinching gold.

In Kyorugi, John Lloyd Moreno, Don Allec Frolles, and Raul Jr. Fernandez clinched gold after a series of hard-fought matches. Jomare Oriana, Jefer Lumapas, and Jenlicarl Francisco secured silver with solid performances, while Weinzel Phillip Ortinero battled hard to earn bronze, contributing to the team’s podium finish.

The Girls’ Kyorugi team also excelled, with Maria Cassandra Villaralbo, Sabrina Lhane Atienza, and Francheska Mae Formalejo securing gold, and Bea Grace Bañaga winning her match uncontested. Myles Audrie Mabasa, Marjorie Pasion, and Daphne Pearl Cobar rounded out the team’s medal haul with bronze.

This remarkable achievement of the Goa District Taekwondo Team showcases the athletes’ dedication and the expert coaching of Coaches Maricon Poche, Francis Balatinsayo, and Chaperone Shiela Mae Rabano. With their guidance, the team didn’t just compete; they dominated—securing their third consecutive overall championship and proving that passion and teamwork continue to fuel their reign.

Unstoppable spikes. Precise sets. Fast digs. Thundering blocks. Championship grit.

Goa District and Presentacion District reign as volleyball champions in the 4th Congressional District Meet, held from February 3 to 5, 2025, at Goa Central School Covered Court 1 and 2.

𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙀 𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙂𝙊𝙍𝙔:

With unstoppable spikes and rock-solid defense, 𝗚𝗼𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁, coached by Mr. Eugene Grejalvo, outplayed all games to clinch the gold medal. 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 put up a valiant fight and secured the silver, while 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗮𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 displayed resilience to clutch the bronze.

𝙁𝙀𝙈𝘼𝙇𝙀 𝘾𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙂𝙊𝙍𝙔:

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁, led by Mrs. Yehlen Ruga Presentacion, delivered a masterclass in court dominance, serving their way to the gold medal. 𝗧𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗰 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 displayed grit and determination, claiming silver, while 𝗚𝗼𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 and 𝗦𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 shared the bronze after battling through intense rallies.

The event was managed by Mr. Roy Montilla, the Tournament Manager, with the help of Mr. Genaro Peteza, the Event In-charge. The tournament's technical officials include Mr. Reny Rita, Mrs. Joy Toralde, Mr. Raul Toralde, and other technical officials across the ten municipalities of Partido District, ensuring every net violation, attack error, and other crucial touch was called fairly.

With electrifying plays, incredible teamwork, and unwavering sportsmanship, this year’s District Meet proved to be a thrilling battleground for volleyball. These champions leave not just with medals but with a legacy of passion and perseverance.

𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 || Relive the highlights of Goa District Festival of Talents 2025 at Goa Multi-purpose Complex last January 21, 2025.

𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐒 || Runs were dashed, balls were thrown, and javelins went flying as the event athletics took place in Goa National High School on January 17-18, 2025. Energy was spent, sweats were dripping, and players from different schools stood victorious.

Boys from different schools participated and won in many categories, earning different places along the journey! With the simplified results for the boys category being:

Goa National High School stood victorious with 11 Gold winners, 8 silvers, and 3 bronze winners.

Juan L. Filipino Memorial High School won 5 gold, 6 silver, and 3 bronze winners.

Tabgon High School earned 2 gold, 1 silver, and 7 broze winners.

Pinaglabanan National High School won 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

Lamon National High School achieved 2 silver and 1 bronze winners.

New Partido National High School won a bronze medal.

Payatan National High School and Lip-Ac Integrated school also participated, however, did not manage to achieve medals from the competition.

Moving on to the girls category! Dedicated women from different schools fought with all their strengths, with the simplified results being:

Goa National High School stands victorious after winning 1 gold, 6 silvers, and 3 bronze madals.

Juan L. Filipino Memorial High School achieved 7 gold and 4 bronze winners.

Tabgon High School placed 2 golds, 6 silvers, and 4 bronze winners.

Pinaglabanan National High School won 2 bronzes.

Lamon National High School managed to get 2 gold and 2 silver winners.

Payatan National High School achieved 1 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze winner.

New Partido National High School won 1 bronze medal and;

Lip-Ac Integrated School won 1 gold medal.

The event was managed by Ronaldo Merencillo, the tournament manager and Theza Marie Valencia, the tournament secretary.
