New Society National High School (NSNHS) principal, Marilyn T. Avanceรฑa, announced the opening of PASIGARBO 2024 with the theme '"Unite, Compete, Triumph" to officially begin the schoolโs intramurals.
Avanceรฑa, along with the assistant principal, Joseph T. Baluya, declared the opening on December 4, 2024, at the campus field with a message for sportsmanship.
"Intramurals are all about friendly competition and building camaraderie. Win or lose, let's show everyone what good sportsmanship means like," Baluya stated.

The Pasigarbo 2024 started with the parade led by the school band and student-athlete, accompanied by the teams including Black Mamba, Red Lions, Yellow Falcon, Pink Stallions, Blue Dragon and Green Panther, along with their team yells.
Pink Stallions was declared 1st place on the parade, followed by Red Lions, who got 2nd place, Green Panthers as 3rd place, Yellow Falcons as 4th place, Black Mamba as 5th place and Blue Dragon as 6th place.

On the same day, the flag-raising ceremony was executed to officially open the PASIGARBO 2024, participated by the participants of each team.
Green Panthers got 1st place in flag raising, Black Mamba got 2nd place, Pink Stallions got 3rd place, Red Lions got 4th place, Yellow Falcons got 5th place and Blue Dragons got 6th place.
Mass dance was also performed by 100 students to represent each teams. They've been already preparing for it weeks before the intramurals.

On day 2, districts competed in a group quiz bee to showcase talents and knowledge on PASIGARBO and MAPEH.
Afterwards, another set of groups from different clusters takes part in radio broadcasting (Filipino) to show their skills and creativity in delivering news and entertainment.
In the group quiz bee, Green Panthers was declared as the champion, with Black Mamba as the 1st runner-up, Red Lions as the 2nd runner-up, Yellow Falcons as the 3rd runner-up, Pink Stallions as the 4th runner-up and Blue Dragons as the 5th runner-up.
Furthermore, Green Panthers stood as the champion in radio broadcasting, with Red Lions as the 1st runner-up, Black Mamba as the 2nd runner-up, Yellow Falcons as the 3rd runner-up, Blue Dragons as the 4th runner-up and Pink Stallions as the 5th runner-up.

Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), together with different clubs and organizations, gathered for ribbon cutting in front of Lopez-Jaena Building.
SSLG president Pearlie L. Fabroa emphasized on how the intramurals was planned and the preparations they made in order to make the event successful.
"Student council ko for 3 years and counting, sa 1st year, naisip namo magpa-intrams, but due to budget and health risk, wala na dayon and karon amoang adviser gusto pud niya ibugna ang intramurals, didto na jud namo sya na push, since layo naman kaayo ta sa pandemic tapos okay naman settle na and ga-anticipate pud ang mga students," Fabroa expressed.
Moreover, the SSLG president explained how they made the intramurals event to be successful.
"Makipagcoordinate sa clubs and organizations, before nag-intrams, nag School Leadership Development Program (SLDP) muna it is to train student leaders sa upcoming intramurals," Fabroa stated.
The said event includes booths from different clubs and organizations, showcasing a variety of activities, games, and foods.
