For our incredible Regional Schools Press Conference ‘24 winners at Tacurong City dated April 11-14, a great roar! You truly brought your A-game and brought home the awards in several categories! Your dedication, talent, and sleepless nights crafting compelling stories truly paid off! We are beyond proud of your excellence in journalism as the representatives of the Sultan Kudarat Division!

You understood well that you are not merely scribes, but shapers of perception. With your pens mightier than swords, you wield words that carry the weight of the truth. Like flames dancing across a page, your wit is what sets stories ablaze, ultimately adhering to the goals of the RSPC 2024. Your win is not solely just from certificates or medals but also from knowing the real essence of being a journalist.

As Atty. Revsee Escobedo emphasized in the opening program, “Young journalists, you are called here today not just to express your God-given talents, but also to use your pens and papers for the furtherance of truth, justice, and peace.”

Hello, Phase 2 passers! Students who have passed the Phase 2 screening are now eligible to participate in the Phase 3 interview! The interview will be tomorrow, January 25, 2024 1:30 pm at the 3-storey Building, 2nd floor, 12-HUMSS THORNDIKE for Filipino and 12-HUMSS FREUD for English. Those who pass the final round will formally join the team and begin their journey as campus journalists! Additionally those who are not able to attend the interview will be disqualified to join. See you, applicants!

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | ENHS hosts 1st ever Leadership Seminar-Workshop

A total of 185 student leaders from different secondary schools in the municipality of Esperanza (Salabaca NHS, Salumping NHS, and Esperanza NHS) participated in the recently concluded Leadership Seminar-Workshop, dated on January 11, 2024, at Esperanza National High School (ENHS) Gymnasium, with the theme, "Student Leadership in the New Normal: Leading Through Change".

The said event was initiated by the Student Secondary Learners Government (SSLG) President of the host school, Deinzelle Tangonan, together with the ENHS SSLG adviser, Sir Eulan Parreño, to create a connection amongst the student leaders in the municipality and improve their leadership skills through focusing on topics about emotional intelligence and spiritual enrichment, leadership responsibilities and social issues, and parliamentary procedures.

Tangonan said in an interview that she is grateful for the active participation of all the student leaders, SSLG officers and advisers, secondary school principal of ENHS, Sir Eskak M. Delna, and secondary school principals of Salabaca NHS and Salumping NHS. She also added, "All the sacrifices and efforts that the participants have put through, were all worth it".

𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔 | Mga mananayaw ng ENHS, nagbigay kulay sa Ballroom Dance Competition

Sa kamakailang pagdaraos ng isang prestihiyosong paligsahan sa ballroom dance kaugnay sa Municipal Meet 2023 sa Esperanza National High School (ENHS), umigting ang damdamin ng mga mananayaw at manonood sa isang nakakabighaning kaganapan.

Ang mga kuminang at nakasungkit ng kampeonato ay sina Yesha Dela Cruz, Mullford Kizle Andol, Ariane Rose Dalogdogan at Gb Gayaban na parehong nagpabilib ng mga manonood sa patimpalak.

Ang gawaing ito ay nagsilbing plataporma para sa mga mag-aaral na nagsusumikap at nagbibigay aliw sa sining ng sayaw. Dinaluhan ito ng mga magagaling na mananayaw mula sa iba't ibang dako ng Esperanza kung saan nagpamalas sila ng kanilang sariling estilo na nangibabaw sa programa.

Nanguna sa gawain ang Latin American Dance kung saan sumiklab ang mainit na ritmo ng cha-cha, samba, at jive. Ang mainit na pagganap ng mga mananayaw ay nagdulot ng palakpakan mula sa masiglang manonood, na humanga sa kanilang kahusayan sa pagsayaw.

Ibinahagi rin ni Gb Gayaban ang sikreto sa likod ng kanilang pagkapanalo. Ayon sa kanya, "It is the hardwork and determination and your objective talaga kase if you don't have goal, hindi mo talaga makakamit yung mga bagay bagay na gusto mo so you must first have the goal, the objective for whatever you are doing."

Ang pagkakaiba ng kanilang estilo ay nagbigay buhay sa aktibidad kung saan tila nangibabaw ang damdamin ng sining sa bawat indak at galaw ng mga mag-aaral.

Ayon pa kay Dela Cruz at Andol, ang determinasyon tungo sa pagkamit ng kanilang inaasam at walang sawang dasal ang nagtulak sa kanila na masungkit ang pagkapanalo.

Isa sa mga natatanging bahagi ng paligsahan ay ang "showcase" kung saan ang bawat pares ay sabay-sabay na nagpakitang gilas ng malaya at masining na ekspresyon ng kahusayan sa pagsayaw.

"Our experience is like we will forever cherish this moment in our entire life. Good experience na rin sa'min 'to para if magcompete kami sa next na competition is may experience na kami which is mapapalaki pa namin yung aming mga ginagawa," pagbibigay depinisyon pa ni Dalogdogan.

Sa likod ng makulay na paligsahan, nagbigay inspirasyon ang kaganapang ito sa mga manonood na subukan ang pagsasayaw at makibahagi sa sining na nagpapayaman sa ating kultura. Ang tagumpay ng paligsahan ay naging pundasyon ng masiglang komunidad ng mga mananayaw na nagbibigay halaga sa tunay na diwa ng sining ng sayaw sa ating lipunan.

𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗔 | Muling pag-arangkada ng Municipal Meet 2023, inantabayanan

Muling nagharap-harap ang mga estudyanteng manlalaro mula sa iba't-ibang paaralan sa Esperanza upang lumahok sa 2023 Municipal Meet sa Mataas na Paaralang Pambansa ng nasabing bayan kaninang umaga, December 13, na aasahang magtatagal ng dalawang araw.

Bumida ang mga atleta sa aktibidad na pawang nagpamalas ng kani-kanilang galing at talento sa paglalaro.

"This day is the awaited moment of all the players in the municipality of Esperanza where they will showcase their expertise and experiencein their respective sports,” wika pa ni Edgar Allan Asug na naghatid ng paunang mensahe sa programa.

Pagkatapos, sabay-sabay na nagsagawa ng panunumpa ang mga manlalaro na naging tradisyon na sa Municipal Meet. Sinundan ito ng
oryentasyon upang mapanatili ang pantay na paglalaro at masunod ang patakaran na itinakda para rito.

Sa pagtatapos, nanguna si Dr. Eskak M. Delna, CES, sa opisyal na pagbubukas ng gawain. Inaasahan namang maisusulong ng bawat atleta ang sportsmanship at camaraderie sa larangang kanilang kinabibilangan.

(Esperanza Sultan Kudarat- Oktubre 27, 2023)- Sa gitna ng halos hindi matiis na init ng araw pinatunayan ng Green Demeter na kaya nilang araruhin ang Golden Ares Warriors matapos magpaulan sina Madriaga at Mancenero ng tig-iisang dalawang puntos na mas lalong nagpaingay ng hiyaw at pananabik ng manonood. Mas lalong hinigpitan ng Demeter ang kanilang depensa at sinabayan pa ng assist ni Dayoc, natapos ang ikalawang quarter na magkadikit ang kanilang iskor sa 17-17. Kung kaya't hindi na binigyan ng pagkakataon ni Madriaga at Sarmiento na makapuntos pa ang Ares upang tuluyan na nilang maselyuhan ang kampeonato sa iskor na, 24-17 sa nangyaring Women's Basketball Championship Game sa Esperanza National High School Basketball Court, Biyernes.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | Harmonious Victory: Violet Aphrodite claims victory in lipsync contest

The Violet delegation crushed the competition and emerged as the undisputed champions of the lip sync battle held during the Intramurals and High School Day of Esperanza National High School (ENHS) at their gymnasium 1 in the afternoon on October 24.

The winner performed the song "If I Let You Go" by Westlife, which drove the audience to cheer and sing along with the performers.

Furthermore, the other delegations were not overshadowed, as they too delivered an outstanding performance, says Princess Aishley Petisme an audience from Black Apollo. And these were proven by Green Demeter and Pink Persephone, who won 1st place and 2nd place respectively.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | ENHS holds oratorical speech competition

A total of eight delegations vied for the most coveted "Champion" award in the recently concluded Oratorical Speech Competition as one of the events in ENHS Intramurals and High School Day 2023.

According to the chairman of the board of judges, Mrs. Maria Erlinda Imbat, while all of the contenders showed an exceptional performance, only one of them had successfully made it to the top. Margarethe Bautista of White Zues was hailed as the 1st placer, followed by the 2nd placer Mitz Laraya of Green Demeter, and Princess Leona Deatras from Maroon Athena bagged the 3rd placer award.

The said competition was held on the 24th day of October at ENHS Computer Laboratory with the English Society as the facilitators headed by the club's adviser, Ms. Fairodz Mamalintao. The mentioned winners for this event will be given corresponding points for the overall ranking of their respective delegations.

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | Maroon Advances to the Finals; Black Delegation clobbered by the Maroon Delegation, 62-54

Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat (October 26, 2023)- Maroon Delegation Basketball Team battered the Black Delegation after having an edged out game in the 1st quarter, succeeding to a different tricks played by both team in passing and blocking the opponents shot as they heated the crowd in a 1 point lead at the latter part of the 3rd quarter, 33-34, 3:55, but later had a fiery match after having an alternate shot by both team. However, the Black Delegation later had a quite gap as the 3-pointer Esmael continued to achieve a 3-points lead, 44-41, the heated match commenced at the 4th quarter as Pineda of Black Delegation and Volutante of Maroon Delegation showed their shooting skills by having a spiny fight that ensued to a 2-points lead against Black Delegation, 56-54, Maroon Delegation Basket ball team made a sure win and attained the spot of ‘waiting for Championship’ after earning an uninterrupted 2-points lead until the hindmost part of the 4th quarter resulting to a total of 8-points lead, 62-54, against Black Delegation in the Intramurals 2023: Battle of the Olympus at the Esperanza National High School Basketball Court.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | Green, Maroon emerged as champions

It's a tie!

In a dazzling showcase of creativity and talent, artists of two delegation emerged as champions on the recently concluded poster making competition during the 2023 Intramurals and High School day on Tuesday, October 24.

After showcasing their talent with their artwork, Chester Caulawon from the Green delegation, and Joshua Jay Anilao from the Maroon delegation both seized the top spot as they proved themselves with the prowess of their work to possess and exemplify the message they want to solemnly convey to the judges.

A tie-breaker was not arranged as the results were already final and were not changed.

Pagbabalik-aksyon ng Intramurals 2023, sinubaybayan

Muli na namang napuno ng hiyawan, pagkagalak at pananabik ang Mataas na Paaralang Pambansa ng Esperanza sa muling pag-arangkada ng Intramurals 2023 matapos ang tatlong taong pagkatengga bunsod ng pandemya na nagsimula sa isang parada, sa ganap na ika-6 ng umaga nang Oktubre 23.

Sa pagsisimula ng unang araw ng Intramurals, pinainit ng ginanap na presentasyon ng bawat grupo ang campus grounds ng paaralan gamit ang kani-kanilang tugtog kung saan nagtagisan ng galing sa paghiyaw at pagsayaw ang mga mag-aaral sa iba’t ibang delegasyon.

Isinagawa rin ang panunumpa ng mga Supreme Student Learner Government (SSLG) officers at iba pang mga nakagawiang tradisyon katulad ng lighting of torch, panunumpa ng mga manlalaro, at pagpapataas ng mga bandera ng bawat delegasyon.

"Sobrang saya po sa pakiramdam dahil nakakamiss po ang Intramurals. Bukod sa nag-i-enjoy kami, marami rin pong magagandang pag-uugali ang nadedevelop sa amin katulad na lamang ng sportsmanship, unity at camaraderie," pahayag ni Xanthea Louise Clar, isa sa mga manlalaro ng Softball.

Sa pangunguna ng paaralan, ang parada ay nilahukan ng lupon ng mga mag-aaral suot ang makukulay nilang damit bilang representasyon at pagkakakilanlan, gayundin ang mga atletang lalahok sa iba't ibang larangan ng larong pampalakasan.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | Mass Dance: Aphrodite claims victory

A day in the spotlight... a scream... a smile... a tear... a celebration.

The descendants of Aphrodite have earned another feather in their cap after winning the mass dance competition during the 2023 intramural and high school day on Wednesday, October 25, 2023.

With their Barbie concept, synchronicity, energy, and truly mesmerizing costumes, Violet Aphrodite has captured the hearts of the judges and the audience out of eight delegations.

Gold Ares, Maroon Athena, Blue Poseidon, White Zeus, Black Apollo, Green Demeter, and Pink Persephone are placed after Violet Aphrodite, respectively.

𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | White Delegation trounced Gold Delegation in 2OT, 63-61

White Delegation Basketball team received their triumph after bouncing back from defeat as they won against Gold Delegation on their lower bracket game in a nail-biting game as they had an overtime twice and a thorny fight between Ebagat of Gold Delegation and Mupak of White delegation team on breaking the tie on the last 5 seconds, ensued to a 2-point lead against Gold Delegation team, 63-61, in the Intramurals 2023: Battle of the Olympus at the Esperanza National High School Basketball Court, October 25.

Esperanza Sultan Kudarat (Oktubre 24, 2023)- Naging mainit ang labanan sa ikalawang set ng laro, matapos magdikit ng ilang ulit ang iskor ng Ares laban sa Aphrodite na kung saan naging mas kapana-panabik pa ang mga huling tagpo nang magtabla ang puntos nila sa 23-all kung kaya't kumamada si Alliyah Parondo ng dalawang magkakasunod na ispayk upang tuluyan nilang maangkin ang panalo, 2-0 (25-14, 25-13) sa naganap na Intramurals Volleyball Girls sa Esperanza National High School, Miyerkules.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | ENHS hails 1st ever Intramurals and High School Day after pandemic

Clamoring of the gods of Olympus!

Voices of different delegations echo in the walls of Esperanza National High School as it celebrates its first ever Intramurals and High School Day after the pandemic from October 23-27, bannering the theme, "Where Champions are born and Legends are Honored".

Approximately 6,000 Students of ENHS were sectioned into eight different delegations, all of them themed as gods of Olympus with each having a corresponding god as well as color, namely the Green Demeter, Black Apollo, Blue Poseidon, White as Zeus Thunderbolt, The Golden Ares Warriors, Maroon Athena, Pink Persephone and The Violet Aphrodite.

The 5-day event showcased the different skills and talents each delegation has in various events mainly in sports, dance, literary and musical competitions, as well as the highlight of the week, the search for miss and mister ENHS 2023.

EPS Sinolinding, binigyang-diin ang tunay na diwa ng Intramurals

"Intramurals is a platform to infuse physical IQ as well as your athleticism and intelligence."

Ito ang binigyang linaw ni Sadat Sinolinding,Education Program Supervisor-Secondary School Sports Coordinator, sa kaniyang talumpati kapanayam ang mga mag-aaral at manlalaro ng Esperanza National High School sa isinagawang opening program kaugnay ng pagsasagawa ng taunang Intramurals, Oktubre 23.

Natalakay din sa naturang mensahe ang kahalagahan ng pagsasagawa ng nasabing aktibidad partikular na sa paghubog ng pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa ng bawat atleta sa anumang larangang pampalakasan.

"School Intrams is very important sa development ng bawat learners, especially kayong mga mag-aaral," paglalarawan pa ni Sinolinding.

Inaasahan naman umanong hindi mapuputol ang patuloy na pagsasanay ng mga manlalaro upang hindi mapag-iwanan ang sports program dahil ito ay isang napakalaking bagay sa mga tao.

Dagdag pa niya, "Tayo ay naglalaro but then wag nating ipagsawalang bahala ang pag-aaral sa ibang asignatura."

Tunay umanong kay ganda ng pagkakaroon
ng ganitong mga programa sa paaralan sapagkat nilalayon umano nitong magkaroon ng sapat na oras ang mga mag-aaral na madiskubre ang kanilang tunay na hilig at talento sa buhay.
