Showing an undeniably splendid performance during the Search for ParaISU Queen 2024, College of Nursing's (CON) Airra Joe Aurelio was crowned as Queen for Entrepreneurship and also managed to bag three awards namely; Ms. Darling of the Crowd, People's Choice Award, and Ms. Wit, reflecting her lovely personality embraced by her dedicated supporters, and her beautiful mind that is able to speak to people. Truly, she gave a remarkable performance during the pageant making her undoubtedly worthy of a crown.

𝐏𝐬𝐲𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐢𝐝 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐋𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡

Highlighting the importance of providing assistance in lessening symptoms of stress and in promoting healthy recovery after a stressful incident, public health catastrophe, or even a personal crisis to our fellows, a Psychological First Aid Training organized by the Campus Guidance & Counseling Unit with the theme "Nurturing Resilience and Well-being Among Students" was conducted at the De Venecia Hall today, January 11, with students from the different colleges as attendees.

Ma'am Margie P. Vinasoy, RGC, RPSY from ISU Cabagan discussed the topic on "Navigating Distress with Compassion: Psychological First Aid(PFA) Training" in which she tackled the Mental Health Care Act of 2018, the Principles of PFA, the Psychological Triage, among others.
Meanwhile, Ma'am Roan B. Antonio, RGC, of ISU San Mariano Campus Guidance presented their Campus' Peer Facilitator Students' Organization in which she shared the organization's foundation as well as the activities they have accomplished so far and highlighted that our campus would also establish such organization.

Moreover, a fun and meaningful Team Building Activity followed the lecture sessions in which the attendees were assembled in groups and participated each of the activities through the guidance of the volunteer facilitators from various student organizations. Lastly, there was an election for the newly established Peer Facilitator Student Organization(PFSO) of our campus in the latter part of the training. Miss Krizza Mae Maldecir from BSN 1-2 was elected as the Secretary and Ms. Najel Kim D. Lovino was appointed as the College of Nursing's Representative.

The newly elected officers look forward for the initiatives, programs, and projects they will spearhead and implement during their term as trailblazer officers for the Campus' PFSO.

𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬: 𝐂𝐎𝐍 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫-𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐲 '𝟐𝟑

As a tribute to the success of the November 2023 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE) Passers, and to celebrate the ending of a year marked with solidarity and memories, a Year-End Party themed: “Ending the Year with Greatness: Celebrating Academic Collaboration, Transcending Stories of Excellence,” spearheaded by the College of Nursing (CON) faculty, assisted by the CON-Student Body Organization (CON-SBO), transpired at the University Open Gymnasium last December 14, with students, new registered nurses, faculty, and guests, as the attendees.

Among the highlights of the event were the Inspirational Message delivered by Ma'am Miriam Macutay, RN, MSN, LPT; the introduction of new Registered Nurses through Sir Markhipolito Galingana RN, RM, MSN; the giving of tokens to the passers from students; and the heartfelt testimonies shared by the newly licensed nurses. The sharing of testimonies served as a forum of reflection and inspiration, boosting the morale of aspiring Registered Nurses. One of the passers who shared her testimony was Ms. Ana Marie Natividad, RN, who garnered an outstanding 89 % Board Rating in the PNLE. Ms. Natividad highlighted the power of hardwork and faith in her testimony as she says, "And, mga ading, believe in manifesting. And please manifest it through a prayer talaga. Bago matulog and after gumising, lagi kong sinasabi, Ana Marie S. Natividad, RN, Board Topnotcher, PNLE 2023, gano’n lagi. Paulit-ulit [lang] ‘yon hanggang sa lumabas ang result. And, sa inyo for sure, makukulitan din si Lord at ibigay sa inyo."

Moreover, CON-SBO highlighted the spirit of giving through a a gift giving raffle draw for the students, wherein various prizes such as Noche Buena Package, cash prizes, and appliances were given to the lucky winners as part of the program.

The event was a showcase of the College's solidarity; not just as a community, but also as a family that rejoices in the victory of its students who have successfully earned the mighty title they have been working so hard for, and also to bring inspiration to the students who will reach that milestone next.

𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐈𝐒𝐔𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐍𝐔𝐑𝐒𝐄𝐒!

The Isabela State University Echague- College of Nursing registered 86.99 % passing rate for first-time takers in the November 2023 Philippine Nurse Licensure Examination (PNLE) with an Overall Performance of 85.91 %.

As per the Professional Regulation Commission, the National Passing Rate is 80% , with 25,761 passers out of 32,203.

Today marks the birthday of one of the College of Nursing's most hardworking and most experienced faculty, our loving dean, Ma'am Edmelyn B. Cacayan, RN, MSN, DNSc.

We celebrate more than just another year today—we honor the inspiration, hardwork, and commitment you provide to our beloved CON. We have been a witness to your excellent leadership through the years which has helped us to hone our skills. We have been inspired to aim for even greater heights by your sincere dedication to service.
