𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 | 24 SAAD Central Visayas program implementers undergo TOT on community-based enterprise and market development

To enhance their marketing skills, twenty-four (24) implementers from the Department of Agriculture's Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) Program Phase 2 in Central Visayas attended the Training of Trainers (TOT) on June 19, 2024, with a focus on community-based enterprise and market development.

The activity served as a supplementary training to the recently conducted TOT on Entrepreneurial Mind Setting and Community-Based Enterprise Development held last March 12 to 14, this year. It aims to further prepare participants for the capability enhancement training on entrepreneurial mind setting, scheduled for July 2024.

𝐍𝐞𝐰𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 | SAAD Central Visayas officially culminates Phase 1, launches Phase 2 in Negros Oriental

The Department of Agriculture - Special Area for Agricultural Development (DA-SAAD) Central Visayas officially recognized and transferred oversight of 140 Farmer Associations to their respective Local Government Units. Simultaneously, this marks the launch of Phase 2 implementation of the SAAD initiative in Negros Oriental last June 28, 2024.

The event, organized by SAAD Central Visayas, was attended by National Program Management Office (NPMO) Director Ulysses J. Lustria Jr.; Deputy Director Dr. Pedro S. Dumaraos Jr.; Negros Oriental Agricultural Provincial Coordinating Officer Mr. Alejandro E. Rafal, partner agencies; regional, provincial, and municipal representatives; and the Farmer Associations (FAs).
