DYPN 99.7FM Radyo Kidlat is a radio station owned by the Negros Oriental II Electric Cooperative. DYPN was launched last September 22, 2021. The radio station is in line with the 7-Point Agenda of the National Electrification Administration – Empower Electric Consumers. This radio station was acquired with the primary purpose to serve as an arm of NORECO II in information, education and communicat

ion. Because of the wide reach of this medium, we will be able to empower our member-consumer-owners and give them the confidence through information and knowledge of our programs, policies and the core mandate of our electric cooperative. At present, when fake news and misinformation abound, our radio station will be the bulwark of accurate information and truth. This radio station will also be part of our corporate social responsibility. We hope to tie up with the Department of Education and use the radio as an alternative way of learning for the students in this time of crisis. It is an exciting time as DYPN Radyo Kidlat has so much in store for NORECO II, for our MCOs and our other stakeholders.
