Meanwhile, the Zamboanga Peninsula and Misamis Occidental can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized convection. There is a risk of flash floods or landslides during periods of heavy thunderstorms. Winds will be light to moderate, coming from the east to southeast, and seas will be slight to moderate, with wave heights ranging from 0.6 to 2.5 meters.

Typhoon Marce continues to threaten the northern portions of Luzon, particularly the Cagayan-Babuyan Islands area, and is expected to make landfall over the Babuyan Islands. As of the latest update from PAGASA, Typhoon Marce remains under Signal No. 4 in two areas.
The center of Typhoon Marce was located approximately 200 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, with maximum sustained winds of 155 km/h near the center. The storm is also experiencing gusts reaching up to 190 km/h and has a central pressure of 955 hPa.
Moving west-northwestward at a speed of 15 km/h, Typhoon Marceโs strong to typhoon-force winds extend up to 560 kilometers from its center.
Landfall is expected to occur later this afternoon through tomorrow morning (8 November), as Marce is set to traverse the Babuyan Islands and potentially the northern portions of mainland Cagayan, Ilocos Norte, and Apayao. The typhoon may either make direct landfall in these areas or pass very close to them.
In other parts of the country, the Zamboanga Peninsula and Misamis Occidental will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, triggered by localized convective activity.
There is a risk of flash floods or landslides in the event of severe thunderstorms. Winds will be light to moderate from the southeast to southwest, with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 2.5 meters).

The storm's center is currently located 735 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora, with maximum sustained winds of 110 kilometers per hour and gusts reaching up to 135 km/h. The central pressure of the storm is at 975 hPa.
Marce is moving northwest at a speed of 25 kph, with strong to storm-force winds extending up to 580 km from its center.

As 'MARCE' moves northwestward within the PAR region, it may enhance the surge of northeasterly wind flow which may occur within the week. SUPER TYPHOON LEON is rapidly approaching Batanes, with winds reaching 185 kph near its center and gusts up to 230 kph, according to PAGASA on Wednesday night.
In its 8 p.m. tropical cyclone bulletin, PAGASA confirmed that Signal No. 4 remains in effect over Batanes, indicating winds of 118 kph to 184 kph and a significant to severe threat to life and property. There is a possibility that Signal No. 5 may be issued if Leon shifts left of its forecast track.
PAGASA has also warned of a high risk of storm surge within the next 48 hours, which could lead to life-threatening inundation from rising sea levels and high waves in low-lying coastal areas. The municipalities at risk include:

The extensive circulation of the typhoon and the Southwesterly Windflow it is pulling will continue to bring rainfall to the western part of Luzon and Visayas.
Meanwhile. at 4:00 PM, the center of Tropical Storm KONG-REY was located approximately 2,355 km east of Southeastern Luzon (outside the PAR) at coordinates 15.5ยฐN, 143.6ยฐE. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 65 km/h near the center, with gusts reaching up to 80 km/h, and a central pressure of 1000 hPa. It is moving northwestward at a speed of 35 km/h.

Severe Tropical Storm Kristine (Trami) has retained its strength and is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Friday afternoon, as reported by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
At 3:00 AM today, the center of Severe Tropical Storm "KRISTINE" (TRAMI) was located approximately 120 km West Northwest of Bacnotan, La Union, at coordinates 17.0ยฐN, 119.3ยฐE. The storm has maximum sustained winds of 95 km/h near its center, with gusts reaching up to 115 km/h. It is currently moving West Northwest at a speed of 25 km/h.
Kristine is projected at 325 kilometers west northwest of Bacnotan, La Union, around 2:00 PM on Friday.
Palawan, including the Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro will experience rain and gusty winds as a result of STS Kristine. The entire Visayas region is expected to have cloudy skies accompanied by scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the storm's trough.
Additionally, strong southwest winds and rough seas will affect the Visayas, Palawan (including Kalayaan Islands), and Occidental Mindoro.
