MAO Staff visit Triple P farm at North Cotabato// Mayor Doandre Bill A. Ladaga's vision for agricultural development in the Municipality of Loreto involves the collection of superior varieties of priority crops in terms of economic signifance. Wilfreda R. Laid, Municipal agriculturist; Thelma P. Berador, Agriculturist II; Liza O. Reyes, Agricultural Technologist, Nicolas B. Cuadra Livestock Technician and Danilo Opeña composed the team who visited Triple P Farm at North Cotabato. The team was gracefully welcomed by the Mr. Joseph Anthony Pamplona, General Operations Manager and his wife Mrs. Krizelle Pamplona. They were very accommodating to tour the team at their nursery production site where propagated seedlings are grown and brought us to 3 different orchard sites. They were also kind to share their cultural practices in managing orchards. Mr. Joseph Pamplona son of Dr. Pablito P. Pamplona, known for his expertise in pomology, aspires for technology transfer to small scale farmers. He shared with us their nursery management and cultural practices while Ms. Krizelle Pamplona discussed the economic side of fruit production. The trip wouldn't be complete without tasting the J33 jackfruit, nam hom coconut variety, Magallanes pomelo and tupig, a Kidapawan delicacy. Furthermore, a sumptuous lunch was given to the team, all thanks to Mr. And Mrs. Pamplona's generosity.

2,176 kilos nga cassava ang nabaligya sa mga mag-uuma ngadtu sa A&M MPC coop, ug padayon pa usab ang pagtanom ug cassava sa mga individual nga mag-uuma ug farmer association sama sa Loreto High Value Crops Farmers Association.

Salamat kuya wham Patayon sa pag assist sa mga mag-uuma nga mapalit ang ilang mga cassava. ♥️😍

All praises and Thanksgiving to God for all His provisions, protection and endless favor.

As the Municipality of Loreto joins the 18th kaarawan of the Province of Dinagat Islands, we have so many people to be thankful for sharing their skills, talents and untiring support. The activity has just started, but we already call it a success.

First and foremost, the activity wouldn't be possible if not for the support from our Mayor Doandre Bill A. Ladaga and all of you.

Our beautiful booth and its entriquet details in terms of creativity and uniqueness have obviously given the judges a hard time on determining the winner, all thankx to the leadership of Capt. Nievalyn O. Deguito and her team composed of hardworking, goal oriented and supportive individuals. (Proclamation of 🏆 will be on Oct.1.)

July 30, 2024// Municipal Agriculture Office joins 50th Nutrition Month Celebration. One of the highlights of the celebration is the Booth and Display Contest wherein we captured beautiful pictures. In connection to the activity, the office would like to congratulate Ms. Rory E. Cuyno for the success of the activity and our partnership during the Hapag Gardening Contest. Awards of the Contest were given today, and we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to our stakeholders and sponsors in their generosity for the consolation awards to merit active participation from the barangays.

June 10, 2024//Soaking wet under gloomy-rainy weather, Headed by APCO Chief Mr. Rey U. Frias and Mr. Kenneth Adrian R. Sabaldan from the Department of Agriculture, and Mr. Milky O. Ebueza - Agriculturist II from the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, they travelled hours away from San Jose to show their strong support to our HAPAG Gardening contest. Also with Aimijen C. Gier - Agriculturist representing from mining industry, with Engr. Joy B. Conales - Municipal Administrpator, Ms. Hazel Anne B. Plaza LGOO VI and Mr. Ryan Onil O. Jamera II - RHU MedTech, Mr. Frias as the chairman of the board of judges, the team untiredly shared their time and effort hopping 6 barangays and 2 people's associations in judging the contest and helped us select the best garden to represent HAPAG at the Provincial level.

The structurally planned beautiful gardens showcase competitiveness of the baranggays and POs. However, in every contest there is always someone that stood out. Among the entries Baranggay San Juan garnered the highest total score of 92%, followed by Brgy. Santiago of 83%, and last with 1% difference the Brgy Sta. Cruz won over the Loreto High Value Crops Farmers Association for the 3rd place to a score 80% over 79%. Esperanza Crops and Livestock Association is acknowledged as the entry with the most agri technological adaptation by using drip irrigation. On the other hand, Carmen as the most versatile group, while the Loreto High Value Crops Farmers Association is acknowledged as the most sustained in agricultural production as they were producing agricultural products in tons way before the contest. And last but not the least the Barangay Panamaon with the most accessible garden as it is located at the heart of their barangay.Congratulations all.

Our sincere gratitude to all we worked with in making this activity successful. To all the judges, Barangay Captains, Kagawad, drivers, our partner Office MNAO headed by Ms. Rory E. Cuyno. Municipal Agriculture Office headed by Ms. Wilfreda R. Laid and with Ms. Thelma P. Berador, Agriculturist II and all the staff. MIO headed by Ma'am Jing Pelismino, Miss Novie and Dada. Bisan pa sa kaiinit sa panahon apan ang Ginoo wala nalimot kanatu sa paghatag ug panagsa nga ulan. Salamat sa Ginoo sa pagbulig sa kusog ug kakugi sa atung mga mag-uuma.
