Alumni Nights brought reunions and reminiscing, while Pagdayeg 2025 rolled out the red carpet for the faculty and staff who’ve dedicated 5 to 30 years of service—proof that greatness isn’t just made overnight.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗭𝗲𝗽𝗵𝘆𝗿𝘀, 𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗨 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯 𝗶𝗻 '𝘂𝗽𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴' 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽

Eyeing to elevate mobilization of the campus publication adhering to journalism standards, The Zephyrs hosted 'The Press Room: A Hands-On Journalism Seminar,' benchmarking with North Eastern Mindanao State University's (NEMSU) journalists on February 15-16, 2025, at NB4, Don Jose Ecleo Memorial College.

Editor-in-Chiefs Lee Van Cleff Mediano Labsan, Christian Joy Apatan, and John Damort Guingguing of NEMSU-Lianga's The Sea Strivers, NEMSU-Tagbina's The BLAZE, and NEMSU-Tandag's The Vanguard Publication, led the two-day sessions alongside The BLAZE's Associate Editor Eula Jane Rag Siban and Managing Editor Summer Sumagaysay.

The workshop focused on news, feature, opinion, editorial, and sports writing, as well as broadcasting and graphic design.

In a Facebook post, Rey L. Mapalad, LPT, The Zephyrs Adviser, shared his gratitude on the completion of the activities and described his recent ‘milestone’ as ‘biglaang success’ – a tagline he deeply associated his life with.

“I am deeply grateful to the school for its unwavering support, to our resource speakers for sharing their expertise, and to The Zephyrs team for their enthusiasm and dedication," posted Mapalad.

The campus hums with life as the community marks January with one of its most significant milestones—the 45th Foundation Anniversary. With the theme “Pagpasidungog sa Kabilin, Pag-amoma sa Kalampusan ug Pagpalig-on sa Kinaiyang Iskolastiko,” the event offers a vibrant tribute to the institution’s enduring legacy of excellence, success, and unwavering dedication to scholastic values.

For 45 years, the school has stood as a beacon of hope and learning, molding generations of students into individuals of integrity and excellence. It has not only been a place of education but a second home—a home where traditions meet innovation, heritage is honored, and the seeds of success are sown.

“Pagpasidungog sa Kabilin” reminds us of the strong foundation upon which this institution is built. It originates from the commendable vision of our beloved Divine Master Ruben E. Ecleo Sr. to educate his people, realized through the unwavering support of his wife, our esteemed Dr. Glenda B. Ecleo, who transformed the vision into reality.

“Pag-amoma sa Kalampusan” calls us to reflect on the countless successes that have been achieved within these walls. From the academic achievements of students to the innovations of our educators, each milestone represents a step toward greater heights.

After a temporary road closure, the RJB Company initiated the removal of the truck in the area, following the reopening of access to Brgy. Aurelio Road leads to Don Jose Ecleo Memorial College. This restoration allows for the normal flow of transportation to resume, bringing calm back to the area. Meanwhile, the Grand Giant Hardware and Construction Supply will cover up the damages caused by the unexpected accident, Sixto Curayag, the truck driver, said in an interview.
