"Arrest of Street-Level Individuals (SLI) in a Buy-Bust Operation"

That on October 26, 2023 at about 11:16 P.M, a joint operation was conducted by personnel from the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), Intelligence Unit of Digos City Police Station, RPDEU, personnel from PDEA 11, PDEU and Intel personnel of 1st DSPMFC. This operation took place at Sitio Sto. Tomas, Cagas Village, Brgy. Igpit, Digos City, Davao del Sur and resulted in the arrest of two individuals alias "BIKAY" a 42-year-old married female vendor residing at Purok Tugas, Sitio Power, Brgy. Tres de Mayo, Digos City (Categorized as SLI covered with COPLAN "MAVERIC") and alias "JUN", 47-year-old male, married, unemployed residing at Purok 2, Brgy. Colorado, Digos City (Categorized as Street Level Individual- Newly Identified Drug Personality).

The following items were recovered from the possession and control of alias "BIKAY" and "JUN":

1) One (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, marked with "JBJ," a signature, and other details (Buy-bust item).

2) Five (5) different sizes of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu

3) One (1) genuine one thousand peso bill (Php 1,000.00) used as marked money, (Buy-bust money).

After the conduct of marking, physical inventory, and photographing at the place of apprehension in the presence of insulating witnesses and the arrested suspects, the suspects and the listed pieces of evidence were promptly transported to this office for recording and proper disposition.

Further, the arrested suspects will be brought to Davao del Sur Provincial Hospital for a medical examination.

The recovered drug evidence and the suspects will be brought to Regional Forensic Unit 11 (RFU11), located at Candelaria St., Ecoland, Davao City for laboratory testing and drug examinations, respectively.

The recovered drug items have an estimated weight of approximately 1.42 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as "shabu," with an estimated standard drug price of Nine Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Six Pesos (Php 9,656.00).

The suspects will remain in temporary police custody at Digos City Police Station while preparing the pertinent documents for the filing of appropriate charges.

**Bansalan MPS Successfully Apprehends Most Wanted Twins**

*Bansalan, Davao del Sur* – In a significant operation conducted by the Bansalan Municipal Police Station, in collaboration with the CIDG PFU, 1ST DSPMFC personnel, 2nd DSPMFC personnel, PIU-DSPPO personnel, and 1104th RMFB personnel, a major breakthrough was achieved with the arrest of one of the region's most wanted criminals.

**CHRISTIAN DAVE LORCA** (age 20), a single Grade 11 student at Mabunga National High School, residing at Dama de Noche St., Brgy. Poblacion Uno, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, was apprehended at approximately 11:00 AM on October 26, 2023.

Lorca was arrested under the authority of a warrant issued by **HON. Alexander B. Yarra, Presiding Judge RTC 11 Branch 21, Bansalan, Davao del Sur** on October 20, 2023, with Case Numbers XXI-2900(23)FC, XXI-2901(23)FC, and XXI-2906(23)FC. These charges are in connection with the violation of section 5(B) of Republic Act 7610. No bail has been recommended for these charges.

In addition to this arrest, **CHRISTIAN CLARK LORCA** (age 20), a single laborer residing in Purok Don Mariano, Brgy. Mabunga, Bansalan, Davao del Sur, was apprehended at approximately 10:30 AM on the same day. He was detained under the authority of a warrant issued by **HON. Alexander B. Yarra, Presiding Judge RTC 11 Branch 21, Bansalan, Davao del Sur** on October 20, 2023, with Case Numbers XXI-2895(23)FC, XXI-2896(23)FC, XXI-2897(23)FC, XXI-2899(23)FC, and XXI-2907(23)FC. These charges are related to the violation of section 5(B) of Republic Act 7610, and no bail has been recommended for these offenses.

Both individuals were informed of their constitutional rights and underwent the requisite booking and documentation procedures. They are currently under the custody of the Bansalan Municipal Police Station, pending further legal proceedings.

HACKING IONCIDENT!

Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur – At about 9:00PM of October 27,2023, the duty Desk Officer of this office received a phone call coming from one Jocelyn Pili informing that there was a hacking incident transpired Sitio Lower Tudaya, Brgy. Sibulan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.
Immediately a team led by PLT. ROGELIO L TORRES JR left office onboard Toyota Innova color red and Hilux mobile patrol no.128 and proceeded to the reported place of incident to verify to the veracity of said report and for possible conduct of ocular investigation.

Initial investigation conducted by PSSg Frederick G Laranio(IOC) revealed that according to one Berbean Soliman Enoc, male, 37 years old, Brgy. Tanod of Brgy. Sibulan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, a brother in-law of both the victim Jeb Pandoy Baro, male,38 years old, laborer, married and the suspect Andy Pandoy Baro, male, 33 years old, laborer, live-in both resident of Sitio Lower Tuday, Brgy. Sibulan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur that at around 6:00 PM October 27,2023 both the victim and the suspect came to his house at mentioned place at around 6:30PM and around 6:50PM of same date the two of them (suspect and victim) left and go home and when they have arrived at their house at same place, they had a heated altercation with each other which have resulted the suspect to hacked the victim in different parts of his body using a bolo (lagaraw) that resulted to his sudden death. The suspect which is the brother of victim voluntarily surrendered after the said incident. He also surrender/turned the weapon (lagaraw) that he used on the said hacking incident.

Suspect is now at the custody Sta. Cruz MPS for proper disposition.

Cadaver of the victim will be brought to Goodlife Funeral Parlor Digos City tomorrow morning (October 28,2023) on day light. Place of the said incident is so remote and rain could greatly affect road passability thereat.

**SUCCESSFUL ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUG "BUY-BUST" OPERATION YIELDS ARREST OF STREET-LEVEL INDIVIDUALS**

Digos City, October 26, 2023 - On October 25, 2023, at approximately 9:43 p.m., a collaborative effort between the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) and the Intelligence Unit of Digos City Police Station, led by PCPT DIOSDADO S NIONES II, CDEU/Intel Officer, and supported by RDEU, PDEA 11, 1104th MC RMFB 11 Intel personnel, conducted a successful joint buy-bust operation in Purok Pag-Asa, Brgy. Tres de Mayo, Digos City.

The operation, conducted under the over-all supervision of PLTCOL FLORANTE S RETES, Officer-In-Charge, DCPS, led to the apprehension of the following individuals:

1. Alias "DOYDOY," male, 37 years old, single, and a resident of Brgy. Tres de Mayo, Digos City (Categorized as Street Level Individual).
2. Alias "JOYCE," female, 30 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy. Matti, Digos City (Categorized as Street Level Individual-Newly Identified Drug Personality).

**Evidence Seized:**

During the operation, the following pieces of evidence were recovered from the possession and control of "DOYDOY" and "JOYCE":

1. One (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, marked with "JBC," signature, and other details (Buy-bust item).
2. Nine (9) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, marked with "RLF1" and "RLF9," signature, and other details (Possession items).
3. One (1) genuine One Thousand Peso Bill (Php 1,000.00) used as marked money bearing serial number VQ423494, with initial marking "JBC," marked with "RLF10" signature and other details (Buy-Bust Money).
4. One (1) Unit Cellphone Samsung Brand, Keypad Color white marked with "RLF11" signature and other details.
5. One (1) belt bag in army-green/black color, marked with "RLF12," signature, and other details.
6. Three (3) pieces of cash in different denominations: one (1) Php 1,000.00 with serial number KH817172, one (1) Php 500.00 with serial number DX232768, and one (1) Php 100.00 with serial number BD298834, marked with "GGSN," signature, and other details.

**Drug Seizure Details:**

The recovered drug items have an estimated weight of approximately 12.44 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, commonly known as "shabu," with a Standard Drug Price of Php 84,592.00 (Eighty-Four Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-Two Pesos).

**Legal Proceedings:**

The suspects, "DOYDOY" and "JOYCE," are currently in temporary police custody at Digos City Police Station while the necessary documents are being prepared for the filing of appropriate charges.

Cruz MPS personnel together with personnel from 1104th MC RMFB XI, PDEU, PIU, 1st coy DSPMFC under the overall supervision of PLTCOL Kristoher A Sabsal-COP conducted joint drug buy-bust operation under PDEA Pre-ops number 30004 102023 0555-time 1217H against .

At about 09:30 PM of October 24, 2023, said buy bust operation has been consummated at Sitio Patulangon, Brgy. Zone I, Sta. Cruz, Davao del sur, that resulted to the arrest of the suspect identified as alias migs, 33 years old, with live-in partner, driver and a resident of Sitio Patulangon, Brgy. Zone I, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur. Seized from the possession and control of Edolmar Libre Cosing was one (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “SHABU” with initial “NCB” (buy bust item).

During the conduct of search, the arresting/seizing officer was able to recovered from the possession and control of Edolmar Cosing were two (2) pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be “SHABU” marked with “RSM-1 and RSM-2 (possession item), one (1) piece One Thousand Peso Bill (PHP 1,000.00) bearing serial number MT039464 marked with “NMC and signature” of the poseur buyer on left side of the bill (Buy Bust Money); One (1) unit violet cellular phone OPPO brand; one (1) piece coin purse and one (1) small piece white paper respectively. The recovered believed to be shabu has an estimated weight of 0.5 grams with Standard Drug Price of Php. 3,400.00

After the recovery of all pieces of evidence, tagging, marking and inventory were immediately conducted at the crime scene in the presence of Brgy. Kag. Hakim Hasan of Barangay Zone I, Sta Cruz, Davao del Sur and Ramon P Susano Jr- media representative.
The arrested suspect was apprised of his constitutional rights provided under the law and is now temporarily under the custody of this office for proper disposition while the recovered drug items were turned over to Regional Forensic Unit, Davao City, for laboratory examination including the suspect for urine test examination. Likewise, the suspect was also brought at Davao Sur Provincial Hospital, Digos City for medical examination.

Initial investigation revealed that both vehicle is travelling digos-makar road Vehicle 1 is heading to Rizal Ave, direction while Vehicle 2 is heading to Hagonoy direction both are in the inner lane upon reaching near shell gasoline station Vehicle 1 lost control and swerve to Vehicle 2 lane which causes for both vehicle to collide head-on hitting Vehicle 2 front left portion by Vehicle 1 front portion and resulted to unestimated cost of damage on both vehicle and injury on Vehicle 1 driver whom brought to DSPH by CDRRMC ambulance for medical treatment but later declared dead by attending physician Dr. Leonard B. ENTRAPMENT OPERATION ON FALSIFICATION PUBLIC DOCUMENTS
Sta. Cruz Municipal Police Station, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur – The Intel Operatives of this office received information coming from confidential informant that allegedly a certain Ricardo Retorca Cambalon Jr. was producing/making counterfeit Police clearance and other Government clearances at Purok Boginvilla, Brgy. Coronon, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

At around 9:40 AM of this date October 4, 2023, Sta. Cruz MPS personnel under the direct supervision of PLTCOL Kristopher A Sabsal conducted briefing spearheaded by PLT. Charmaine Monina M Monteverde intendent for the entrapment operation of the alleged suspect wherein Pat. Rolan S Mari was designated as Poseur Client and seizing officer, while PSSg Mark Gregorie Okit was designated as arresting officer, and PCPl John Ryl J Sabado and Pat. Maria Camille Cion D Ragonton were designated as videographers. Pat. Rolan S Mari has brought the mark money 1piece 100 pesos with serial No. AJK34689 and 1piece 50 pesos with serial no. G281685 with his initial at the bottom of serial no. of the said bills.

After said debriefing operating troops proceed to the reported place to entrap the said alleged suspect.
At around 10:53AM of this date at Purok Buginvilla, Brgy. Coronon, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur the suspect in the person of Ricardo Retorca Cambalon Jr, 43 years old, single, and a resident of Purok Buginvilla, Brgy. Coronon, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur was successfully arrested by the operating troops after Pat. Rolan S Mari had completed the transaction to the said suspect wherein Pat. Rolan S Mari had given the 150 pesos mark money to the said suspect as payment for the counterfeit Police Clearance of Pat. Rolan S Mari that was made by the suspect Ricardo Retorca Cambalon Jr.

The operating troops had recovered the following pieces of evidence to wit; 1. Diha-diha dayon, gipadala ang Faw Patrol nga gidumala nila Pat Larida ug Pat Villasencio aron pagresponde og maaksyonan.

Ang maong mga personahe niabot sa maong estasyonan ug gi-endorso ang usa ka Alyas Jessie, lalaki, 48 anyos, minyo, self-employed, ug residente sa Lapu Lapu Super Highway, Brgy. Aplaya, Digos City.

Sa imbestigasyon nasayran nga sa pagkadawat sa impormasyon niini nga buhatan sa giingong report sa paglapas sa R.A 10591 in Relation to Comelec Gun ban, dali kining giaksiyonan sa maong buhatan ang tawag nga miresulta sa pagkasikop sa nahisgutang tawo. Narekober gikan sa iyang possession ug control ang usa (1) ka unit nga homemade shotgun nga naay fired cartridge case. Samtang, nakuha gikan sa iyang bulsa ang duha (2) ka buhing bala.

Ang dinakpan walay mapakita nga igong dokumento sa narecover nga armas og ang maong suspek anaa na sa kustodiya ning maong estasyonan samtang giandam ang gikinahanglang mga dokumento alang sa inquest proceeding;

Diha-diha dayon niresponde sa crime scene ang kapulisan ning syudad.

Sa gipahigayong Initial Investigation nasayran nga ang biktima giila nga si Alyas Federic, lalaki, 60 anyos, minyo, mag-uuma ug residente sa Purok 6, Diamad St., Brgy Aplaya, Digos City, samtang ang suspek giila nga si Alyas Rey, 32 anyos, minyo, welder ug residente sa Purok 6, Fiamad St., Brgy Aplaya, Digos City.

Mga alas 10:10 sa gabii ning petsa, samtang nangandam sa pagkatulog ang biktima uban sa pamilya niini nakurat nalang sila dihang kalit nga misulod sa ilang balay ang suspek ug walay duhaduha nga gitigbas ang biktima diretso sa iyang ulo gamit ang bakal nga atsa. Human sa insidente ang suspek nidagan palayo sa wala matinong direksyon.

Mga alas 10:38 sa gabii ning petsaha, ang suspek ni-surrender inubanan sa iyang pamilya sa buhatan sa kapulisan.
Mga alas 12:05 sa kaadlawon, Septiyembre 7, 202, gideklarar na ang biktima nga patay sa iyang attending physician nga si Dr. Heubert Alisna sa Davao Del Sur Provincial Hosipital.

Joint Accomplishment on ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUG “BUY-BUST” OPERATION (DISMANTLING OF DRUG DEN)
That on September 4, 2023 at about 8:05 p.m., personnel from City Drug Enforcement Unit of Digos City Police Station conducted a joint “Buy-bust” operation at Purok 8, Tienda Aplaya, Brgy. Aplaya, Digos City together with the following units: PDEA 11; RPDEU; PDEU/PIU and 1st coy DSPMFC, under the over-all supervision of PLTCOL FLORANTE S RETES, Officer In-Charge, Digos City Police Station which resulted to the arrest of the hereunder personalities:

a. JAYSON DUMAGUIT NABISES Alias Boss (Drug Den Maintainer and Categorized as HVI), 27 years old, male, with live-in partner, painter and a resident of Purok 8, Tienda Aplaya, Brgy. Aplaya, Digos City;

b.JANILYN AMODIA CUERDA Alias Aubrey, 27 years old, female, with live-in partner, jobless and presently residing at Purok 8, Tienda Aplaya, Brgy. Aplaya, Digos City (Drug den Visitor, Categorized as HVI).

c.MARJORIE CATAMBACAN Alias Kikay, 33 years old, female, single, bar waitress and a resident of Fatima Mabini Ext., Brgy. Zone 3, Digos City (Drug den Visitor, Categorized as HVI); and

d.ROEL ACOMPANADO PAYAN Alias Monkey, 51 years old, male, married, laborer and a resident of Purok 8, Tienda Aplaya, Brgy. Aplaya, Digos City (Drug den Visitor, Categorized as HVI).

Pieces of evidence recovered from the possession and control of the suspects including the buy-bust item, are listed below:

a)One (1) pc. Heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (Buy-Bust Item);
b)Four (4) pcs. Heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu (Possession Items);
c)One (1) pc.Genuine One Thousand peso bill (Php 1,000.00) used as marked money bearing serial number UE016546 with initial marking “ACM” (Buy-bust money);
d)Six (6) pcs. Machine copy of One Thousand peso bill;
e)Four (4) pcs. Open transparent plastic sachets containing with suspected shabu residue;
f)Three (3) pcs. Rolled foil (Drug paraphernalia);
g)Two (2) pcs. Scissors;
h)Three (3) pcs. Disposable lighter;
i)One (1) unit Cellular phone keypad nokia brand color black; and
j)One (1) pc. Cigarette pack bros brand.

After the conduct of marking, physical inventory and photographing at the place of apprehension with the presence of the insulating witnesses and the arrested suspects, the latter as well as the pieces of evidence listed above were immediately brought to PDEA office for recording and for proper disposition.

The recovered drug evidence have an estimated weight of MOL of 17 grams (shabu) with an estimated street market value of Two Hundred Fifty Five Thousand pesos (Php 255,000.00) and a DDB value of One Hundred Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred pesos (Php 115,600.00).

DAVAO DEL SUR, AUGUST 30, 2023 - The Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office under the leadership of PCOL GIUSSEPPE A GERALDE – Provincial Director together with Department of Education - Davao del Sur Division joint efforts for the successful and peaceful opening of schools throughout the province for the 2023 academic year. With careful planning, collaboration, and adherence to health and safety protocols, both agencies have achieved a smooth transition for students, teachers, and staff to resume in-person learning. In this simultaneous opening of face to face classes, the Davao del Sur Police Provincial Office has worked tirelessly to ensure a safe and secure environment for all students and educational personnel through deployment of sixty-eight (68) PNP personnel and establishment of thirty four (34) Police Assistance Desks (PADs) to both primary and tertiary schools in the province.

The peaceful opening of schools in the province is a testament to the resilience and determination of our educational community working together with Davao del Sur Police Provincial Police Office for a safe and peaceful opening of classes in the entire province of Davao del Sur.
