We're giving back the honor and glory to God for the appreciation given to 1197 DXFE's Station Manager Magnolia Fernandez Yrasuegui and "Balik Kita sa Uma" host Janoz Laquihon at the 27th Infantry Action Battalion's 55th anniversary celebration! This is such a blessing, and we're thankful for our partnership with the 27th IB. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

A big thank you to City Social Welfare and Development Office - Davao and Davao City Youth Development Office for organizing their True Love Waits series. Ms. Magnolia Fernandez Yrasuegui, our 1197 DXFE Station Manager gave her "Your Are Worth Waiting For" talk at UM Manuel Guianga on February 13th.
This important session focused on the importance of sexual abstinence and self-respect, echoing the powerful message of 1 Corinthians 6:20: "For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." We're incredibly grateful for this opportunity to support our youth in making healthy choices.

Until All Have Heard: A Day of Blessings in Malabog

On February 8th, 2025, 1197 DXFE's 53rd anniversary and the 27th Infantry "Action" Battalion, 10ID, PA's 55th anniversary converged in Brgy. Malabog, Paquibato District, for an amazing community outreach. This wasn't just a celebration but a living testament to our theme, "Until All Have Heard."

The City Health Office provided vital medical services to the residents of Malabog, while the City Social Welfare and Development Office - Davao generously offered food packs to about 250 families. The Bible was also distributed during the event.

The highlight? Clown Noel brought joy and the Gospel message to 200 children, who received toys, fruits, hotdogs, and gift bags full of goodies! Their laughter and bright eyes reflected God's love.

From start to finish, God's hand was evident. Every obstacle was overcome, and every need was met. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to share the Good News and His blessings with the community. Thank you to the listeners and partners of 1197 DXFE for sharing their resources.

🌎 Happy World Radio Day! 🌎

Today, February 13th, 2025, we celebrate the power of radio to inform, educate, and connect. This year's focus is climate change, but at 1197 DXFE, we see it as something bigger: our responsibility as stewards of God's magnificent creation.

As Genesis 1:28 reminds us, "God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and every living creature that moves on the ground.” We are called to be responsible caretakers of this beautiful creation.

1197 DXFE was given the opportunity to join the 27th IB PA in this tree-planting activity -a small but significant step in our commitment to environmental stewardship. 🍃

Let's all do our part to protect God's creation for us and future generations. Small actions, multiplied by many, can make a world of difference.

Smiles are coming to 150 kids! 😊
Get ready for an outpouring of joy! Our gift bags will soon bring happiness to 150 children in Malabog, Paquibato District, Davao City on February 8. We're incredibly grateful to everyone God is using to make this happen. We will continue to go out to the communities until all have heard!

12 For when you have become full and prosperous and have built fine homes to live in,
13 and when your flocks and herds have become very large and your silver and gold have multiplied along with everything else, be careful!
14 Do not become proud at that time and forget the Lord your God, who rescued you from slavery in the land of Egypt.
15 Do not forget that he led you through the great and terrifying wilderness with its poisonous snakes and scorpions, where it was so hot and dry. He gave you water from the rock!
16 He fed you with manna in the wilderness, a food unknown to your ancestors. He did this to humble you and test you for your own good.
