Nothing crazy, really. These are actually very simple resolutions but are very fundamental in leading a better life. Sometimes the simplest things are the toughest ones to follow through.

The past year was full of unexpected travels and opportunities. It was like a mild but exhausting roller coaster ride, but nonetheless an enjoyable and memorable one ❤️

It’s been a week since I ran my first half marathon at the 2024 Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 💪

It was an amazing and emotional experience for me. After the 15km mark, the pain in my legs and feet just gradually increased along the way. Thank God I brought the small freebie tiger gel from the race kit LOL

By the time I hit the 18km mark until the finish line, I probably cried twice. And when I got to the waiting area where I saw James recording me full of pride and tears, I cried again.

He said to me after a tearful hug. “3 yrs ago, we were in the hospital fighting your cancer. Now, you just finished your first half marathon.”

I am grateful to God for this opportunity to run, for simply being alive, and for sustaining me always. Salamat Lord 🙏

So I recently turned 33 ❤️

It hasn’t really sunk in yet since I was very sick during the days leading up to my birthday while traveling abroad. I also had little to no internet connection during our travels so I wasn’t able to check my social media accounts for greetings and memories right away.

Now that I have the time to sit and contemplate, I am filled with gratitude to everyone who greeted me and made my day extra special.

Special thanks to my ate Jacq and kuya Leo for surprising me with a birthday cake during our brief stay in NJ. Nasurprise ko I genuinely wanted to cry kaso naay video. Hahaha

Thank you to my family in the PH for their online greetings, kay mama, kuya, Cheena, and ante Uding. I miss you all so much! Bawi rako pag uli. Hehe

Thank you to the Pamonag family, especially papoy, mamoy, Jy2, and my husband James for all your birthday treats and surprises. I have always felt your love and support ever since I became part of the Pamonag family. I will always be grateful.

Thank you also to all my family, friends, and colleagues who greeted me. Apologies for the delayed response. I was nursing myself back to health. Lavan lang jud ta ani kay dili lalim ang tugnaw diri na side. Hahaha

Most importantly, thank You Lord 🙏 Oftentimes I feel like I don’t deserve the things You have given me because of my shortcomings and imperfections. But You always put the right people in my life to remind me that I deserve to be loved and blessed even if I fail to meet my own expectations.
