Homophobia also affects people who are attracted to multiple genders, even as biphobia is also a relevant term for that community. Transphobia—discrimination against transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming people—intersects with homophobia and shares similar origins, but is a different form of oppression.

Q. What is Inters*x?
An inters*x person is someone whose reproductive anatomy does not conform entirely to medical definitions of male or female. Inters*xuality is an umbrella term and is not to be mistaken to be just one type of s*xual identification. Inters*x has at least 30 congenital variations of s*x anatomy. No two inters*x experiences are the same.

Q. Why does this happen?
It just…happens. It’s biological and medical. Why people are born inters*x is like asking why someone is born female or male. It’s just how some people are born or develop.
