It's Saturday Review Day with Teacher Aimee in KSOA! Let's recall the words with long "a" sound with magic "e" such as slave, make, cake, bake and the famous tongue twister game "Ape cakes, grape cakes". I reflected on the well known story about John, the Baptizer who baptized Jesus with water and who prepared the way for HIS coming. John the Baptizer was an instrument in the fulfillment of the plans of God and that Jesus, thru His obedience to the Father, has died, risen, and will come again. Just like Jesus, we OBEY because we BELIEVE! What completes our week is the bible verse in Matthew 3:17a " A voice from heaven said: This is my son, the one I love. I am pleased with Him". Thank you for the ABC of Salvation and prayer! What a beautiful week KSOA š„°š„°š„°

It's Thursday Review Day with Teacher Grace. Last Monday's lesson was all about farm animals like cow, hen, sheep, goat, horse, pig and duck. They can also be called livestock or production animals as they provide us food such as meat, milk and other healthy products. They are also useful to the farmers in the farm. Although, I realized that raising farm animals can be a good business opportunity as we can sell them in the market and can be a good source of income. To do this, you have to invest also for their maintenance. I was entertained by the story and most especially inspired by the bible verse from Psalms 145:9 " The Lord is good to all and His mercy is over all that He has made"...thank you Teacher Grace, thank you KSOA, thank you everyone and God bless us all!

It's Tuesday with Teacher Cora. It is a fresh start of the year and time to make new year's resolution. We make a promise to start doing good and stop doing bad. This can be a family activity where every member gathers together and list down doable and meaningful things to do/stop to do for the year. At the end of the year you can go over the list and see how many in the list are DONE-check them and those not done, try next year. The story made me realize that a new year resolution is something that we do to become a better person by helping, loving, and caring for others thus we can attain true happiness not only for ourselves but also for others. The bible verse from 2nd Corintians 5:17 says " Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come, the old has gone, the new is here". ššš
