𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮. 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙤𝙙 𝙥𝙖 𝙗𝙖 𝙢𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣, 𝙈𝙈𝙁𝘾𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨?

𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗥𝗬 | Comic Journalism | 𝐄𝐏 𝟏 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐌𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫: "𝐀𝐬𝐚 𝐤𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐠-𝐬𝐤𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐚?"

“𝘼𝙨𝙖 𝙠𝙖 𝙣𝙖𝙜-𝙨𝙠𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙖?” - It’s a question that sparks more than just curiosity - it stirs identity, pride, and sometimes, laughter. For students of Mindanao Medical Foundation College (MMFC), it has become an inside joke that their school isn’t as well-known as others. Mentioning MMFC often leads to puzzled looks, followed by the inevitable follow-up question: “𝘼𝙨𝙖 𝙣𝙖?” And so, with a smile, we explain, “𝙎𝙖 𝙍. 𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤, 𝘼𝙜𝙙𝙖𝙤, 𝘿𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙨𝙖 𝘼𝙡𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙤 𝙙𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙩 𝙨𝙖 𝙈𝘼𝙏𝙎.” It’s something we’ve embraced with humor and pride.

Yet, behind the jokes lies a truth that sets MMFC apart. This isn’t just a school tucked away on a less-trodden street; it’s a haven of excellence quietly making waves. With a legacy of 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗽-𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘀 and 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, MMFC is proof that greatness doesn’t need fanfare. Here, effort is a language we speak fluently, not just in describing our school, but in achieving the heights we strive for every day.

So yes, we laugh about the extra effort it takes to explain where we study and what we’re known for. But that effort is also a reflection of what MMFC stands for: hard work, perseverance, the pursuit of greatness, students and faculty who work together, laugh together, and grow together.

So the next time someone asks, “𝘼𝙨𝙖 𝙣𝙖?” don’t just point them to Agdao or mention its proximity to MATS. Let them in on the inside joke, the pride, and the quiet brilliance of a college that continues to rise above expectations.

Because here at MMFC, every direction leads to excellence.

Enrollment at Mindanao Medical Foundation College (MMFC) is still ongoing tomorrow, Monday, January 13, 2025.

Despite circulating rumors that the school will be closed, MMFC will remain open to accommodate all enrollment transactions as scheduled.

This may be a little late, but our gratitude and admiration for our exceptional, hard-working, brilliant moderator are right on time!

Sir Gelo, we are beyond grateful for your guidance, patience, dedication, wisdom, constant encouragement and support. You’re not just a mentor but an inspiring leader who always pushes us to be the best versions of ourselves and shaped us in countless ways. A true guiding light as he is always supportive, making it his top priority to help us accomplish everything we set out to do. Mindanao Medical Foundation College came alive as we welcomed our newest batch of healthcare 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒔-𝒊𝒏-𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈. Freshmen and transferees from all programs gathered for their student orientation, marking the beginning of their journey toward excellence in the health sciences. As of 12:47 AM, an initial count of 203 families and 547 individuals were affected and 150 houses reported to have been burned down.

Our organization adviser, Mr. Angelito Sagut, has been affected. He is guaranteed safe, but none of his belongings were spared.

We are humbly asking for your assistance by donating in-kind donations such as food, water, and clothings.
