Isang malaking realtalk! 💪

I did not work away from home para sabihan ng "kuripot mo, ang yaman mo naman, seaman ka".

Totoo na may pera ako but every single peso I spend reminds me of how hard I earned it and it's never easy.

I had to risk my life working in dangerous settings. I had to endure countless sleepless nights, stress, loneliness, homesickness, sea sickness, pressure, and anxiety. I had to sacrifice being with my family in most occasions. And I spend most of my entire life away from my family at sea.
There are days even that I just let my tears fall when I'm alone to release the exhaustion that I feel.

Life on board is so much more than the pretty pictures you see. It's really hard. But you will never understand until you experience it firsthand.

4. Siguro nakakain niya lahat ng cravings at naluluto lahat ng gusto niyang pagkain.

5. Siguro madali lang sa kaniya ang buhay dahil hindi naghihirap.

6. At napakadami pang SIGURO.

But always remember na hindi lahat ng may trabaho ay may pera at may malaking ipon dahil ibat-iba tayo ng responsibility at kahit gaano pa kalaki ang sahod mo ay yun naman kadami ng bills mo.

You also need to consider this;

1. Baka kasi yung sinasahod niya sakto lang na matustosan ang pangangailangan ng pamilya.

2. Baka meron pa siyang madaming mga loans na binabayaran kaya wala pa itong savings.

3. Baka yung mga nakita nating mamahaling gamit na naibahagi nila sa kanilang Social Media ay pinag-ipunan buwan o taon para lang mabili ito.

4.Baka nakakain niya lang yung gusto niya paminsan-minsan dahil nagtitipid siya sa buong buwan.

5. At sana isipin din natin na baka napapagod at nahihirapan na siyang kumayod sa trabaho pero nagtitiis nalang dahil kailangan.

Kaya paalala lamang sa mga taong humingi ng tulong sa mga may trabaho, naway hindi kayo magtampo kung hindi agad kayo matulungan dahil in reality yang taong akala niyo madaming pera dahil may trabaho ay pagod nadin at hirap pero pilit na lumalaban dahil yun ang kailangan.

We are all struggling to survive in this life, the least that we can do is to spread Kindness and Goodness. ❤️
