Actress-singer Sarah Geronimo expressed deep sadness and outrage over the animal cruelty incident involving Killua, the golden retriever who was recently found dead inside a sack by his fur mom.

"This news is extremely heartbreaking. Walang kalaban-laban 'yung a*o. Katulad nating mga tao, nakakaramdam din sila ng takot at sakit. Every life deserves respect and protection," she wrote in her X post.

Geronimo called for the accountability of those responsible for the said animal cruelty, urging the public to raise their voices against such acts.

"Let's unite in being the voice for the voiceless. Killua... we will fight for you," she said. (X/Sarah Geronimo)
