𝘗𝘢𝘴𝘴 𝘐𝘵 𝘖𝘯: 𝘗𝘳𝘦-𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘜𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 is an inspiring educational project initiated by 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑲𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒂𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒖𝒔𝒂𝒚. This initiative aims to support indigent students by providing them with much-needed school uniforms, ensuring they can start the new academic year with confidence and pride. The success of this project is made possible by the generous donations. These pre-loved uniforms not only help ease the financial burden on families but also promote a culture of sharing and community support. By distributing these items to indigent students, Sangguniang Kabataan ng Busay hopes to foster a sense of belonging and motivation, enabling them to focus on their studies and achieve their academic goals. Empowering our youth for a brighter future! The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Busay proudly presents the Busay Balik iSKwela program, an initiative dedicated to providing essential educational supplies to all Junior High (incoming Grades 9-10) and Senior High (Grades 11-12) students who are bona fide residents of Busay. From July 17 to 22, we will be accepting applications with proof of enrollment. Ensure you have the necessary documents ready and take advantage of this opportunity to support your educational journey. The Busay Chapel Youth Choir, together with the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Busay, is calling all youth to join our choir family! Join us for the Arangkada Banwa Caravan (ABC) on July 5, 2024, at the Pandan Covered Court from 8 am - 5pm.

ABC will bring all municipal services closer to the residents of barangays Pandan and Busay and other neighboring barangays.

Some of the services are free medical and dental check-up, including eye check-up which is a new service offered by the local government and many others.

Initiated by Mayor Awin Baldo, the ABC program aims to make municipal services more accessible to our community.

Busay Connectify: The 1st Busay Team Building Event

On June 29-30, 2024, the Sangguniang Kabataan ng Busay, Busay Barangay Council, and various local organizations came together at Villa Acosta, Sto. Domingo, Albay for the inaugural Busay Team Building event. The two-day event was filled with activities fostering collaboration, camaraderie, and community spirit. From trust exercises to team challenges, participants strengthened their bonds, shared laughter, and created lasting memories. The event underscored the power of unity and collective effort in driving progress and achieving common goals for Busay. Together, we are stronger!

On June 29, 2024, a coloring activity was held at the Busay Resettlement Site in Anislag, Daraga, Albay, to celebrate "Celebrate the Sea Month," as per Presidential Proclamation No. 1512, s. 2008. The children colored images of marine animals using coloring sheets provided by the National Museum of the Philippines, with the assistance of Ate Angie.

The NMP-Bicol wrapped up its National Heritage Month (NHM) celebration with a two-day abaca weaving event on May 27-28, 2024, engaging over 20 participants.

Attendees delved into the time-honored craft of abaca fiber weaving with guidance from two skilled weavers from Malilipot, Albay: Marieta Balaguer and Salvacion Alemaña.

The NMP-Bicol will conduct a short lecture titled SOGIESC Talk for Friends and Lovers this coming Sunday, 23 June 2024, from 1:00 to 4:00 PM at the NMP-Bicol, Busay, Daraga, Albay.

Let us celebrate Pride Month by engaging in discussions with people with diverse SOGIESC (s*xual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or s*x characteristics). The talk will delve into the basic concepts of SOGIESC, the situation of the LGBTQIA+ (Le***an, Gay, Bis*xual, Transgender, Q***r, Inters*x, and As*xual and all the other identities), and the affirmative actions and policies for the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Busay recently held a successful and heartwarming coloring activity for children, celebrating the majestic Philippine National Eagle. This event, in collaboration with the National Museum-Bicol and with the full support of the Busay Barangay Council, was a delightful experience for all involved. The young participants immersed themselves in creativity, learning about the importance of the Philippine Eagle while expressing their artistic talents. The joy and enthusiasm on the faces of the children were truly inspiring, reflecting the event's success in fostering both education and community spirit.
