I BELIEVE BEING A STAY AT HOME MOM IS A CALLING.

Hindi lahat ay kuntento at masaya dito dahil iba-iba tayo ng pananaw sa buhay. Iba-iba ng expectations at realidad ng buhay.

Being a Stay at Home Mom is selfless. Kasi kapag nagdesisyon kang maging SAHM, it means iiwan mo na din ang "kalayaan" mo, trabaho mo, ang mga kaibigan mo, ang mga dati mong nakasanayan-- You will never be the same after you become a mother, sabi nga nila. And its always for the better because of our children. Para sa akin, iba pa rin ang fulfillment ng isang Nanay kaya kung papipiliin ako, pipiliin ko pa rin maging isang Ina.

Madalas pinapakita ng mga Stay at Home Moms na okay lang sila, na kaya pa nila, na masaya sila kahit nasa bahay but the reality is, hindi sa lahat ng panahon. Oo, masarap makita ang mga ngiti ng anak mo. Oo, nakakataba ng puso sa tuwing yayakapin ka ng mga anak mo. Oo, nakaka-proud na masaksihan lahat ng milestone ng anak mo. Pero minsan kailangan nating aminin na hindi natin kaya lahat. Super-mom tayo pero kailangan din natin ng tulong at suporta ng mga taong nakapaligid sa atin para maging masaya.

Hindi lahat, kaya maging SAHM. Hindi lahat, masaya sa pagiging SAHM.

Kung ano man ang nararamdaman mo, hindi ka dapat i-judge.

Basta Inay, gaya ng palagi kong sinasabi. Hindi masamang alagaan ang ating mga sarili paminsan-minsan. Hindi masamang maging masaya kahit hindi kasama ang mga anak paminsan minsan. Hindi masamang maglakwatsa paminsan-minsan. Hindi masamang hanapin ang sarili na nawala simula ng maging nanay tayo.

Basta huwag mo lang kalimutan na kailangan mong bumalik-- kasi kailangan din ng mga anak natin ang masaya at malusog na Ina. At ikaw 'yun. Lagi mo lang alalahanin na hindi ka nag-iisa sa laban ng pagiging ina.
