DCAA SEASON IS HERE!

Cheers and screams filled the CSI Stadia as the Dagupan City Athletic Association (DCAA) Meet kicked off today, January 16, 2025.

With the theme “Beyond the Game: Empowering Champions, Shaping Character,” athletes of different schools in Dagupan City with their respective coaches joined together in the opening of the said event in the morning.

Moreover, the search for Mr. and Ms. DCAA and the hip hop dance competition were also held in the program both for elementary and secondary division; and Jech Calugay of 12 STEM 1 was crowned Mr. SDO DCAA 2025.

We pray and hope for the success of our school in this year’s DCAA meet, but more than winning, we must always remember the value of sportsmanship. Good luck and congratulations, Johannines!

MEET YOUR ORGANIZATION HEADS, JOHANNINES!

As we're halfway through the academic year, it is best to meet and acknowledge our following organization heads who have, in the past semester, already shown what it takes to be a leader.

We formally introduce the heads with hopes that moving forward, they will contunue to fulfill their respective responsibilities and make SJCS a safer and a more fun learning environment before they pass on the torch.

MABUHAY, RIZAL! 📜🇵🇭

Dr. Jose Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonzo Realonda also known as Jose Rizal is a political activist and writer whose works inspired the revolution in the Philippine against the spaniards colonization. His famous works include the Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo which are two related novels about social injustice and violence under the reign of the Spanish government in the country. Rizal was executed by spaniards due to a treason at the age of 35 in December 30, 1896 which is now commemorated as the Rizal's Day.

As we honor his 128th death anniversary today, let it light the undying love for one's country and the fiery pride of one's own race and language by remembering his words: "Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika ay higit pa sa hayop at malansang isda."
