CINECamNorte directors Vince Sangcap, Anuar Joshua Palma, and Yasmin Chan attended the premiere of the 7th DOH-CSTRC Short Film Festival at Universidad de Sta. Isabel They showcased their respective film entries: Ang Buhay Kong Sitcom by Penta, Anino x Timsi Productions, and A23 Production, and Walang Takas by Cinekula Production and Pinecraft Production.

Both films will be available to watch on the Cam Sur TRC DAPC Celebration 2024 page starting Monday, December 2, 2024. Follow their page now and stay tuned!

CINECamNorte directors Vincent Ricafrente and Anuar Joshua Palma attended the 39th PMPC Star Awards held at Winsford Resort and Hotel, Manila. Vincent Ricafrente was nominated for Short Movie of the Year and Short Movie Director of the Year for his film Ang Pagbagon ni Pina. Meanwhile, Anuar Joshua Palma received a nomination for Short Movie of the Year for Habak ng mga Manide, the 2nd Best Film of the Bantayog Film Festival 2023.

Bantayog Film Festival 2025: Film Pitch Submissions Are Officially Open!

Filmmakers based in Camarines Norte are invited to submit their storylines for the 2025 Bantayog Film Festival. Each production can submit up to three (3) storylines, aligning with this year’s theme, “Activities and Festivities in the Province.” The deadline for storyline submissions is November 30, 2024.

Guidelines for Storyline Submissions:
1. Filmmakers must be based in Camarines Norte.
2. Each production may submit up to three (3) storylines.
3. Storylines must align with the theme “Activities and Festivities in the Province” and include Camarines Norte story elements/topics such as:
• Surfing
• Mining
• Farm/Agriculture
• Tourism Group (Film Tourism, Tour Guides, Tour Operators)
• Martial Arts
• Transport Group
• Nature
• Cooperative Activities
• Hidden Town Stories
• Any activities in the province
4. Storyline submissions are due by November 30, 2024.
5. Submissions can be made via New V Media Entertainment’s page or delivered to New V Media Entertainment’s office at 2F Lubal Building, J. Lukban St., corner M.D Camarines, behind the Provincial Capitol in Daet, Camarines Norte.

Vince Sangcap, is a juror in the screening of the final film output of Mabini Colleges’ senior high school students for Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Regions and 21st Century Literature from the Philippines with the theme “Reimagining Society: How Contemporary Art Confronts Modern Challenges.”
