I need an Appointment Setter for the Merchant Services industry, consider these qualifications:
1. Experience
Previous Experience:
-Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in appointment setting, cold calling, telemarketing, or a similar role.
Industry Knowledge:
-Familiarity with the merchant services industry, including credit card processing, POS systems, or merchant cash advances, is a big advantage.
Sales Background:
-Experience in sales or customer service roles can be beneficial.
2. Skills
Communication:
-Excellent verbal communication and listening skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively over the phone.
Persuasion Skills:
-Ability to build rapport and persuade potential clients to set up appointments with the sales team.
Organizational Skills:
-Strong time-management and organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple leads and follow-up activities.
Tech-Savvy:
-Comfortable using CRM software, appointment-setting tools, and relevant communication platforms.
Detail-Oriented:
-Ability to take accurate notes on each call and input information correctly into the CRM.

High School Diploma or Equivalent:
-Required.
Sales or Communication Courses:
-Any additional training or coursework in sales or communication is a plus.

Schedule Flexibility:
- Willingness to work flexible hours, if needed, to accommodate different time zones or peak calling times.
