In line with the PDβs Care Wellness Program (SIGLAT), at about 6:00 AM of June 24, 2023, personnel of Currimao MPS led by PMAJ MARIA AURORA E CRUZ, ACOP initiated a Zumba Dance exercises together with the Brgy Officials and residents of Brgy Poblacion 1, Currimao, Ilocos Norte headed by PB Gerry A Quitoriano. This activity aims not only to boosts the heart health but also get anaerobic benefits β the kind that help maintain a good cardiovascular respiratory system and help personnel de-stress. Also, activity aims to provide a new social context to make friends with the community and give the opportunity for social interaction and can help to build good relationships. Further, this activity is a part of our interventions on Anti-criminality campaigns through Community Engagement, Aggressive and Honest Law Enforcement Operation. In this way, the police can pre-empt the possible occurrence of the crime and the criminals will be hesitant to do nefarious act. Thus, the community will feel safe by the presence of the police within AOR.
