In celebration of the 75 years of central banking in the Philippines, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued a 750-Piso Silver non-circulation commemorative coin. The obverse side features the Intendencia, also known as the Aduana building, in Intramuros, Manila that served as the first headquarters of the Central Bank of the Philippines. The reverse side features markings of the year โ1949,โ 75th-anniversary logo in color, the inscription โCELEBRATING 75 YEARS OF CENTRAL BANKING IN THE PHILIPPINES,โ BSP Seal, and the year โ2024.โ
The silver commemorative coin will be available for sale starting Monday, 2 September 2024 at 1 p.m.
