Traffic Advisory: Pasigarbo sa Sugbo 2024

Pasigarbo sa Sugbo 2024 is scheduled for August 25, 2024, starting at 12:00 NN.

Traffic Route Plan:

• Traffic Flow: The event will affect the usual traffic patterns. Green and yellow-marked routes on the map indicate where traffic will be rerouted.

• Street Dance Route: The parade will begin at the Cebu Provincial Capitol and proceed along Osmeña Boulevard, concluding at the Cebu City Sports Center.

• No Entry Zones: Specific roads will be closed to traffic, including sections of Osmeña Boulevard, M. Velez Street, and V. Rama Avenue.

• Props Area: Designated areas for props setup will be along R. Landon Street and Pelaez Street.

Motorists are advised to avoid the event route during the scheduled time. Please follow the instructions of traffic enforcers and signage. Plan your routes ahead of time to avoid inconvenience. For more details, check the image below.

Solemn Long Procession - Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe de Cebu This Afternoon, July 16, 2024, at 4:00 PM Onwards

The CCTO-RMA announces a temporary traffic adjustment plan for the solemn long procession of the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe de Cebu. The procession will commence at 4:00 PM this afternoon, July 16, 2024, following the route detailed below:

Procession Route:

• From Guadalupe Parish Rotunda
• To V. Rama Ave.
• Left turn to Andres Abellana Ext.
• Right turn to Andres Abellana St.
• Right turn to M. Velez St.
• Right turn to V. Rama Ave.
• End at Guadalupe Church

Traffic Adjustments:
• Roads along the procession route will be temporarily closed and reopened as the procession passes through each area.
No full road closures will be implemented; roads will be closed only at specific points where the procession is located at any given time.

Motorist Advisory:
• Motorists are encouraged to plan their routes in advance to avoid delays.
• Follow the instructions of traffic enforcers on-site to ensure a smooth traffic flow.
• Expect road closures that will open and close at different times along the procession route.
• We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the safety and success of this solemn event.

Temporary Road Closure for Carmelite Monastery Procession This Afternoon, Tuesday, July 16, 2024

NOTE: Due to road construction along the procession route, the CCTO-RMA has revised the traffic route.

This afternoon, Tuesday, July 16, 2024, starting at 4 PM, there will be a temporary full road closure of Pope John Paul Ave. from the corner of F. Cabahug St. and Cardinal Rosales Ave. to the corner of M.J. Cuenco Ave. for the Carmelite Monastery Procession.

Traffic Adjustments:

• Temporary full road closure of Pope John Paul Ave. from the corner of F. Cabahug St. and Cardinal Rosales Ave. to the corner of M.J. Cuenco Ave.
• The one-lane two-way traffic on M.J. Cuenco Ave. is lifted.

Motorists are highly encouraged to take the following alternative routes:

Green Route (Southbound):
• Vehicles on F. Cabahug St. can go straight to Cardinal Rosales Ave. or take alternative routes such as F. Gochan St. or P. Almendras St.
• Vehicles on M.J. Cuenco Ave. can go straight ahead going south or turn left if heading to J. Luna Ave. to the port area.
• Vehicles at the corner of Pope John Paul Ave. coming from Gov. M. Cuenco Ave. can turn right to Cardinal Rosales Ave. and proceed to their destination.

Yellow Route (Northbound):
• Vehicles on F. Cabahug St. should turn left at Pope John Paul Ave. vehicles can go straight to Gov. M. Cuenco Ave. or, if planning to go to F. Cabahug St., turn right at Edros Rd., right at P. Almendras St., and left at F. Cabahug St. before proceeding to their destination.
• Vehicles on M.J. Cuenco Ave. can turn left at Tres Borces Padres St., then right at Sindulan St., left at P. Almendras St., and continue to their destination. They can also turn left at F. Gochan St. and continue to their destination.

Motorists should plan their routes in advance and anticipate possible delays. Thank you for your cooperation.
