While we are desperately chasing our dreams. Our parents become more weaker and older. Sadly, may pera ka man ngayon. Wala ka ng chance to take them anywhere kasi mahina na sila, to give them the food they want kasi marami ng bawal sa kanila, to give them money kasi wala na silang energy to buy whatever they want. It is sad kasi while we are striving so hard to give them the best life, they are also growing weaker and older. Time really is our greatest enemy. 😭

For me, gaming wasn’t just a "cheap pleasure" it was an escape from this cruel reality. During college and my board exam review days, when everything felt like too much to bear, gaming saved me. It was the only place where I could forget the pressure, the expectations, and the constant fear of failure, even just for a little while.
It wasn’t about wasting time or avoiding responsibility, it was survival. In those moments, I wasn’t trying to kill big goals; I was just trying to survive the weight of everything crushing me. Sometimes, those small escapes are the only thing that keeps me going.
