Here are some of the expected expenses upon arrival in US:

1. Down mo sa apartment or house/ may kashare ka/titira sa room ng ibang ngpaparent ng room na fully furnish - kung mag isa ka ba or may kashare. Some are requiring for one month deposit and one month advance. Kung mag isa mo,ishoulder mo lahat. Kung may kashare ka, the better. Kung magstay ka nman sa room ng mga ngrerent,depende rin s hihilingin nila syo na down pr deposit.

2. Mga gamit -kung apartment, bilhin mo lahat mula kutsara hanggang bed kung magsarili ka ng apartment or may kashare ka. If magstay ka sa room ng isang ngpaparent, dika na bibili ksi ksama na yun sa mga offer nila.

3. Utilities like tubig, basura,kuryente, internet,phone at provider
Utilities sa apartment minsan kasama na sa rent like tubig at basura
Internet sa bahay - need mo mag apply if sarili mo ang bahay, may kashare. If mgstay sa room ng mga ngpaparent,kasama sa rent.
Kuryente - Duke energy - may deposit kami nun bago ikabit uli sa amin. Diko lng alam sa iba.
Phone - syempre need mo ng phone at service provider like TNT, Verizon and others. Remember, no load po dun dika matawagan at tumawag. Check your cp IMEI nya if pwede sa US para service provider na lng ang problema. Pwedeng plan or prepaid ang load.

4. Transportation - bibili ka ba ng car, makikisakay or uber.

Bibili ka ng car - need mo ng down, need mo ng car insurance. Remember this, khit batikan kang driver dito sa Pinas at ilang taon ng ngdridrive, back to zero ka kaya mahal ang car insurance.
If mag uber,lyft or makisakay - you still need to pay. Wala pong libre.

5. Pagkain at groceries - need to buy your food for the duaration til makasahod ka. Do not convert US to peso kasi mamamahalan ka talaga.

6. Health insurance/Car insurance/car - remember na hindi ka pa ngwowork, you need to pay ang health insurance mo. Other health insurance - monthly kaya magmomonthly ka. Other health insurance, binabayaran na ng minsanan. Car insurance at car if bumili ka, need to pay monthly kahit dika pa sumasahod.

7. Gamit at iba pa - syempre ang iba bibili din ng gamit. But if I were you, dalhin nyo na lng mga damit nyo since hindi nman require ang uniform sa US.

NOTE: This expected expenses ay base sa aking experience way back. Diko na maalala ang iba. Syempre inflation, expect na mas mahal na ngayon ang mga bilihin after pandemic. So its up to you to list down your future expenses and do your budget. Remember po, you need to provide your needs til unang salary mo.

FYI:
1. Check niyo if may signing bonus sa pupuntahan nyong district.
2. Pagkareport mo ng first day ng school til katapusan like august - buo ang sahod. Depende sa district.
3. Check if 10 months or 12 months ang salary nyo. Thats another things to consider kasi pag 10 months ka - no salary ng June at July and need mo mag set aside ng pambayad mo ng utilities mo and everything kahit mgbakasyon ka pa ng Pinas next summer. Whether it is 10 months or 12 months - need mo pa ring magbudget.
4.Purchasing ng mga gamit - if like mo ng mga bagong gamit - you have to check the price.
Kung dika nman maarte at nagtitipid ka, marami ang nag yayardsale, garage sale, goodwill, trifth store sa US.Nagtitinda sila ng mga used na gamit. May mga pinoy din na nagbibigay or nagshashare ng kanilang mga used na gamit. But do not expect too much. Syempre nakakahiya.

These are purely based on my experience. It's up to you to add if may nakalimutan ako. Just sharing so that you know your expected expenses upon arrival in US. This was way back 2017. Marami ng pagbabago. Nakadepende pa rin sa inyo kung paano kyo magbudget.
