Stepping inside Sushi Station transports you to a Japanese subway station—it’s like Narnia, but you get sushi instead of Turkish Delights. 🍣🍥

They wanted posters that complemented their restaurant’s concept, so we took detailed close-up shots of the food, blew them up and fused these larger than life images with loud, bright colors, and a heavy font—elements typical of Japanese subway posters.

When you know what you want, you get exactly what you need. 💯

In a world where outputs are needed yesterday, we often forget to sit down and enjoy our work.

One thing became apparent to us during our teambuilding a few weeks ago: we focused too much on the goal, without ever thinking as a group how to get there. Task after task bit us in the ass, all because we couldn’t figure out how to work as a unit.

Early in the day each of us were asked to care for our own egg, pero wa pa gani mi maniudto naa na'y natagak; by the final activity, baho na kaayo mi kay daghan na kaayo'g nangabuak. 😅

So when our facilitators asked us to summarize what we learned about ourselves and the team, we chose to draw an egg. A spoiled, no-good egg. This egg stood for two things—ourselves and our tasks. We were all too focused on finishing our tasks that we often disregarded care, both for our eggs and the way we did our tasks. A spoiled, broken egg will never be a chicken, nor will it be a good omelet.

Ikaw, unsa man nang itloga imong gibitbit diha? Creative rut, or maybe a lull in your business? Whatever it is, that’s alright! Slow down, but don’t stop. Trust yourself, your process, and those around you. Your egg will hatch eventually. 🐣

“Not your usual sales AVP.” Nonverbatim, this was the brief from Cebu Landmasters, Inc., who wanted a video series about their new and soon-to-rise Casa Mira properties. They wanted to sell, they wanted to inform, they wanted to “appeal to younger people with spending power.” 💯

Vlogging felt like the most natural approach to these goals then. And not just your garden variety selfie-angle phone vlogs. Here we saw an opportunity to balance the best qualities of a sales pitch video—the clarity of fact, the finesse of their product—and the atmosphere of having a friendly face talk to you about growth, the wonders of a community to call your own, starting the next chapter of your life.
